My wife and I stayed here as we was a party just down the road. Very warm welcome on arrival, room was large and well presented and clean. It was a lovely stay and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, I enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend.

My sister and I took our mum for Sunday lunch as an early Mother's Day treat. The menu was a preset 4 course menu. There was plenty of choice. The food was excellent I had the swordfish with capers and mussels which was mouthwatering. Mum and sister had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with roast potatoes and various veg. They...

From my friendliness of my first call I knew The Wycliffe was going to suit us. I was traveling from Somerset to Scotland with my 90 year old aunt and needed a comfortable stop off enroute. The hotel was a short distance off of the M6 which was perfect for us. We were greeted with a smile and made to...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Wycliffe Hotel and Restaurant, I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the food we served and found our staff friendly. Have just returned from a very enjoyable meal at The Wycliffe to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Once again the food was tasty and well presented, the staff very attentive but not intrusive and atmosphere in the dining area was lovely. I can highly recommend The Wycliffe and hope to return again soon. Thanks to all the team.

Stayed when we went to a concert in Stockport. The welcome and service on arrival was excellent and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Looks newly decorated. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend when in the area.

The staff at the Wycliffe was absolutely amazing. They went over and above the norm of customer service always with a gracious and sincere attitude. Their chef and food staff are brilliant! People come from all over the area to eat in the restaurant there - the food is outstanding! The location couldn't be beat as I could walk to...

You know when you have prior knowledge, that you are just going to enjoy your night out based on previous experiences. Charity night at the Wycliffe Hotel. A warm welcome from Mark and from the host of the night. 70ish people all sitting down to a four-course multi choice menu, excellent food (as always) served quickly by attentive staff and...

I flew in unexpectedly from Australia to attend a funeral. I had booked the Wycliffe after reading positive reviews. I was far from disappointed. I found the staff warm and supportive, yet non-intrusive. They were also extremely flexible when I reduced my stay to spend time with friends... I had mentioned this in advance as a possibility but the hotel...
