Stayed here recently for a wedding. The setting is perfect at the foot of the South Downs and if you have your wedding here you will not be disappointed. The service from all the staff here was excellent, from waiting staff to bar staff. The food was so tasty, all freshly prepared. OK, if you stay overnight you might find...

Stopped here for a wedding recently, the food was good, hot and plenty of it and the service was great. The reception room was perfect for the gathering, but there was a shortage of seating for the evening event, but we managed. We stayed in the Kempe Suite, it was located in the older part of the building and whilst...

My husband and i stayed here for one night whilst visiting Hove, and really enjoyed our stay. Lovely setting and very helpful and friendly staff. Room was immaculate and bed extremely comfy! Had a fantastic nights sleep and never heard a sound all night long. Breakfast was fantastic - cooked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again. My only two...

Called in here to meet a client for an impromptu lunch. It is in a wonderful setting at the foot of the downs and probably a great place to rest after some good walks. But, inside, you cant really work out if the bar is a bar or a small hotel reception. We ate in the restaurant which was small...

Hotel was in a very picturesque setting. The inside was not. The downstairs was reasonable, however when we climbed the stairs with all the stains on the carpet I knew the room was going to be below standard, I was not wrong. The room was very small with tired furnishings. Too much furniture crammed into the room. Lumpy uncomfortable pillows...

On Friday 9th May 2014 we had our wedding at Tottington. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place - the venue, the staff and the organisation was all perfect and we can't thank Sarah and her team enough. They bent over backwards to make sure it all ran smoothly before and during our day. We felt so very...

We ended up at Tottington Manor somewhat by mistake due to problems with various other bookings, but I have to say I am pleased that we ended up here. It was for just a one night stay, combined with a meal in the restaurant. Food was very good, well presented and reasonably priced. The bedroom was quite small but certainly...

Just got home after having a lovely relaxed bank holiday lunch at Tottington Manor. This was my first lunch out with my 3 week old son and the staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. As for the lunch the food was amazing, portion sizes were very generous and everything was cooked perfectly! Normally you can't beat a...

Held a wedding there last week, this was a great day at a great location. Nothing was too much for Sammie or Sarah and the service was second to none. The rooms and food were fantastic and the views are outstanding with it overlooking the South Downs. You cannot choose a better location to have your wedding. The quality was...

Tottington Manor is a great place, even if you just go to eat, the chef is excellent and the food excellent value for money. We stayed this weekend as it was my husband's birthday. Very comfortable rooms, great views of the Downs and was extremely pleasantly surprised when I got the bill next morning. Very welcoming staff, very friendly. Our...

“Avoid older rooms with quirky features and uneven floors, but more modern rooms may be above the evening venue area and could be noisy. Our old room was actually really quiet.”

“When booking ask if you can be put either in the lovely new annexe that has just been built or a room at the back of the hotel as there are I think 3 rooms which are directly above the restaurant but its not a rowdy, noisy place. They also have a room with a Four poster bed. Beautiful old building very quirky.”

“We had a standard front facing room. The front facing rooms probably have nicer views.”
