Recently visited the Amish Country with a group of hiking club friends. We stayed at Wanner's Guest House which is located on a large working dairy farm. We had a wonderful time. With a master suite downstairs and four bedrooms upstairs, three with double beds and one with two double beds and two singles, this is an ideal place for...

My husband and I have been coming to Amish country for years and I just discovered the "Dawdi Haus" this Summer. Words can't convey how adorable it is. The accommodations are spotless and there are so many little added touches that you don't get when staying in a motel room. The cottage is a garage that was converted, it has...

Two couples staying 8 days. Lovely 2bedrooms with very comfy queens & a single, 1 bath, living room with TV, dining, large eat in kitchen fully stocked with dishes, appliances & some basic staples (including fresh milk). There is also a laundry room & a cute "sewing room". Original hardwood floors. Comfy front porch to relax & watch the constant...

Why rent a room when you can rent the whole house? You can cook, eat out or bring it back. Centrally located for Amish attractions. Passing traffic can be noisy, but the ambiance of the whole experience is worth it.

We spent a week in the Guest House in August and had the most wonderful time. The guest house itself is a real treasure. The owners have furnished it tastefully, full of Amish artefacts and family memorabilia. There is plenty of storage and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and contains everything you need. It was especially great...

Three of us stayed in the house for a long weekend and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The home is beautiful and located right in the heart of town. We also went on a tour with Mr. Stoltzfus, which gave us incredible insight into the lives of the Amish families in this area. Our only suggestion would be to bring...

We stayed in the Dawdi Haus at the Amish Guest House and Cottage, and it was perfect! Clean, cozy and comfortable. Beautiful landscaping, horses clip-clopping by, friendly neighbors. Mr. Stoltzfus was so very kind and helpful- you don't get theses amenities at the big hotels! The homemade bread and strawberry jam was delicious. We felt cared for and welcomed. Location...

We stayed here for 5 nights. The Dawdi house is set up very nicely. It sleeps 6 , but I think it's best for 2 or 4. It's 2 beds and a pull out sofa, and a kitchen table. My complaints are very small tv, and small bathroom, with cramped stand up shower.. The Dawdi house is spotless, and decorated...

... we had the good sense to stay two nights in this lovely cottage. We were visiting Dutch Pennsylvania during a searing heat wave (it was 105 degrees outside on Saturday, July 7) and this cottage was a godsend. Our hosts were friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable and most helpful. Horse-drawn buggies trot continuously up and down the street in front...

Charming 2BR, 1 bath home - absolutely spotless. Not luxurious (it is Amish country!) but extremely comfortable - lots of rockers inside and out. Much of the decor and furniture is "genuine Amish", as both owners grew up in the Amish faith. Bedrooms have 1Queen and 1 Twin in each. Full kitchen - a continentental breakfast of homemade jam and...
