Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazing. The layout of the room was really well done in the space provided. 2 cozy chairs formed a seating area near the foot of the bed where you could relax and chat or watch tv or read. There was a desk if you needed to work, or maybe eat a snack. The TV was on the dresser and could easily swivel from facing the seating area or over towards the bed for watching before falling asleep. The AC worked really well, thankfully, since it was a very warm day when we visited.
The bathroom was large as well, and having 2 sinks, one in and one outside the bathroom was really convenient. We had a walk in shower in our room and after walking all around Lancaster and different antique stores, it was a wonderful treat for weary feet and legs to not have to climb into a tub. The towels were large and fluffy. I am a larger woman and they wrapped all the way around...big plus in my opinion!
The staff were courteous and extremely pleasant. Breakfast that was supplied with our stay was delicious, with many items to choose from.
The pool being in a separate building was a nice touch...families could really enjoy themselves and the noise didn't bother any tired travelers in the hotel lobby or rooms.
Overall one of the best Best Westerns we have ever stayed at, for sure!! (pillows were so comfortable we actually inquired about where we could purchase one!)

First time visiting, we really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Every single employee we interacted with through out the hotel were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The front desk staff are welcoming and attentive to their hotel guests. The staff in the restaurant and breakfast area are hard working in keeping up with the guests and making sure food and supplies are constantly being refilled. The food in the restaurant was good. The hotel is clean and comes with some nice extras. There is an outdoor basketball net, corn hole game, great outdoor furniture to relax on, a fire pit and indoor heated pool and hot tub. We felt at home, very comfortable and this is not always something we feel when staying a hotel. Everyone who works at this hotel should be praised for their hard work and for all they do to help make this establishment a success in hospitality.

We only stay at Best Western . We came to the area to thrift store shop and antique shop. We were not disappointed. Lots and lots of thrift stores, and antiques, this hotel is very nice. Third generation family owned kept very clean. We were surprised and delighted that there were not Styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. We got glass plates and stainless steel silverware for breakfast. This is the first best Western we’ve been to that used real silverware and glass plates. The pool area and the hot tub are fantastic. Everything worked no missing tiles. The parking is a little small so if you come back late to the hotel, you’ll be parking in the back lot. Other than that, we had a fantastic day and you will definitely enjoy this Best Western if you go.

This hotel has been our #1 pick over the last several years, after a final year of trying to stay at cheaper hotels and regretting it every time. We've learned that paying a little extra for this hotel is worth every penny, especially because it offers a great free breakfast that you'd easily pay $30 if you ate out. It's perfectly situated in Intercourse, PA, within a short walking distance to local shops and Kitchen Kettle Village. We enjoy bike riding when we come here, and the back end of the hotel parking lot drops us right onto the "back roads" that lead you into the scenic countryside. It's the perfect location.
In addition, we have never had a bad experience here. The rooms are always clean and fresh, and the beds and pillows comfortable. The hot and cold breakfast selections are amazing and include scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. The food is always very good and the dining area is spacious. We highly recommend this hotel.

First time I have stayed at this hotel and it won't be the last. I have traveled to the area for many years and stayed in several different hotels. This Best Western is by far the very best yet. My friend and I had a room with a separate living space which was very nice. It was good to be able to sit somewhere besides on the bed. The entire room was spotless upon arrival and I have never seen a tub shine as much as that one did. The buffet breakfast offers a good variety of foods and the eating area is very spacious. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When you enter the lobby it smells wonderful and is very clean, not cluttered and has several very nice sitting areas. I did not use the pool or hot tub so can't comment on those. The exercise room looked like it had some nice equipment in it also. This was a very pleasant stay and will be my new "home away from home" next time I visit.

Over the years we have visited the Lancaster area many times to attend shows, plays and other activities. We have stayed at different hotels in the area but the BW Plus Intercourse Inn is the cream of the crop in my opinion. It is well maintained and managed with a friendly staff, great amenities, clean accommodations and in a quiet tucked away area. We also request the same room with our stay because we like where its located and never once have we ever heard road noise or hotel noise. This visit was no different and we enjoyed our stay as usual. We did have a minor issue with our coffee maker not working and reported it so they could replace it with another one for the next guest.

What a wonderful hotel! I would highly recommend it. It's quiet, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It's definitely an older hotel, but still feels very clean. They have a huge breakfast room and lots of good options for a hot breakfast. We didn't use the pool, but there is one attached to the building. Our room was on the first floor, so we had a little balcony we could sit outside on which was nice. The weather was great while we were there so we left sliding glass door open for a nice breeze while we were in the room. This hotel is located right in the middle of Amish country, and it's an easy walk across the street to many shops and restaurants. Free parking, free, Wi-Fi, and free breakfast are all a major plus. The only thing I wish that they would do is give out free water bottles rather than charging for them.

This hidden gem of a hotel in Intercourse, PA was one pleasant surprise after another. The outside is charming and immaculate. The lobby is warm and inviting. Out king room was spotless including the bathroom — perfect grout, shining faucets and a floor you could eat off. I’ve never seen a guest room like it.
The location is ideal and within walking distance to quaint shops and restaurants and Amish culture activities. The on-site restaurant was excellent for that home cooked flavor after days of fast food eating out on the road. The portions border on absurd — split a meal unless you want to take some with you. The Included breakfast was also delicious, hot, and not to be missed.
The hotel has a lovely indoor pool and gym (we didn’t use, but very nice), plenty of free parking, and is very modern (key wave door locks, Wi-Fi, cable flat screen TV, coffee, mic, fridge in room) in spite of its 19th century location. Stay here once and this will be your return to favorite.
A word of caution: the highway through town is like the fourth turn at Indy. Trucks and cars seem to pass through as fast as mechanically possible (no cops). It’s really a shame because they not only miss a very beautiful place, but the noise and speed are truly obnoxious alongside of the Amish horse and buggies that occasionally pass by. Look both ways and enjoy an absolutely wonderful experience in Old World Lancaster.

This hotel stay wasn’t as good as it used to be. First of all when I booked the stay with the front desk clerk I was quoted a “too good to be true” price for our 3 day stay in a king “deluxe” suite with a sofa bed. The day before our arrival I received an email stating the amount I was given upon reservation but only 2 nights. When I called the hotel, the GM informed me that the girl made a mistake at the time of booking. When I originally booked with the girl I immediately called her back reconfirming the price for 3 nights in the suite- she reassured me the rate was correct. The GM gave me a discount on the night because of her mistake. I feel we should have had the original confirmed price honored because it was the hotel’s mistake, not mine. The sofa bed was another issue- we had to ask the clerk for a mattress topper because the springs were poking my sin in his back. I will think twice before booking here again.

The Best Western offers a complete breakfast. This has been the case since the last week in June. I am confident that you can get whatever you want to eat for breakfast
Our view was lawn off to the side of the building, facing into the sun, ground level, but a balcony overhead, 2 chairs to seat out there. Horses? Come and you will see them all over the roads as the Amish go about their daily lives or teams of horses and/or mules working the fields.
There are more places to choose from in the Intercourse area.
