I returned to this hotel after several stays there in the late 1970's. Delighted to report that all that should have stayed the same has (with the exception, of course, of the Long Bar which was ruined by the famous flood of 2004. The replacement layout and gallery however is excellent). More importantly, the high quality of the food, and...

The Wellington served as a delightful home base for a small group of family and friends to walk the North Cornwall coastal path for a week. The rooms were comfortable in an old-fashioned way, the staff was very pleasant, and the food was excellent. We booked through Footpath Holidays, which also arranged for transport, maps and guides to a different...

We got a family room which was perfect for us! We hiked part of the Southwest coast path and used the Wellington as a home base. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and modern. We really enjoyed the terrace outside. Great stay. Highly recommend!

Booked at very short notice this hotel made the booking process and travel arrangements very easy. The double room was very comfortable. The hotel is an old coaching inn and the room had beams and a window seat as well as en suite facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, there were windows that opened properly and lots of little treats...

We have been really lucky this year, having the chance of 2 Cornish holidays. This is our second stay at the Wellington in 3 months. There are just the 2 of us and we like to explore so we book each day for the following night. During our first day at the Eden Project (highly recommended) we decided to revisit...
