Stayed here for a week's walking holiday in Cornwall. great location for visiting the coast. Tired hotel but quaint ( and part of its character ). We asked for a quiet room because we were aware of the disco on saturday night. only problem was we were at the front of the building ( High street location ) and the...

We stayed for two nights and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room huge and very clean with a very comfortable bed and the food good quality. The portions are large and the Jenny breakfast is more than enough! The hotel is well located with a car park at the rear which is a pay and...

I stayed at the hotel for one night on business. It was a late booking and had heard horror stories about the town. The hotel was surprisingly nice, the room was lovely and the staff friendly. My only gripe was the WiFi wasn't working which when I needed to work made things very difficult. I was also a solo female...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights at the end of September and are a party of two. The main reason for chosing this hotel was the central location to the town. The only positive things I can say about the hotel are the staff who were always very friendly and the breakfast which was very good. Unfortunately that...

Very comfortable hotel with efficient and friendly staff. Good food served either in the bar or the restaurant. A car park is available to the rear of the hotel but a free parking voucher is supplied by the hotel. The only downside was the wall in our room was paper thin and we could hear every word being spoken in...

I have so many good things to say about our room but it was all ruined by the very low quality mattresses which literally had wires trying to push through the thin padding. Our mattresses were very uncomfortable, I tried to lie flat and avoid the major painful bits but during the night when you move around, it literally wakes...

The noise level was so extreme on the nights we stayed (Fri and Sat nights) that we had to leave on the Sunday morning - 2 nights short of our 4 night booking The 'disclaimer' re noise on the booking.com website IN NO WAY removes the requirement for a Hotel room to be usable for entirety of stay. The room...

Despite being situated in the centre of Camborne this hotel is definitely a Cornish gem. The staff are efficient and could not have been more friendly. Our room was large and clean with every modern convenience. Free WiFi was always available with fast Internet access at all times. A large car park at the rear was free and never full....

We needed a dog friendly decent place to stay overnight before catching the ferry to St Mary's one of the Scilly Isles. Although the initial sighting of the hotel wasn't great-it looks quite tired both from the front and back-our two rooms were much better than expected. One of the rooms was over the bar and we were warned that...

A friendly welcome and good location, but the cons outweighed the pros with this place. Two very noisy nights (live band and disco below our room), uncomfortable bed and pillows, and quite old fashioned. It had the charm of a granny's house, but stains on the carpets and old decor were a bit disappointing for the price. Appreciated the free...
