The hotel is in a great location facing east onto the higher reaches of the river Fowey. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our double room with en-suite was extremely comfortable with a picture window framing the stunning views of the river. The icing on the cake was the outstanding restaurant. Food and service was...

If you want a quiet relaxing holiday with lovely views then this is the place. Have just come back from spending four nights at this charming hotel. I cannot rate it highly enough with regard to accommodation, food and staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be making a return visit.

We stayed here shortly after our wedding day. The perfect place to relax, unwind and take in the beautiful scenery. The food was absolutely fantastic and such good value for money. The hotel & its surroundings are wonderful, well kept and clean. It's not far to the local villages, towns & beaches, but with the setting that the Cormorant provides,...

A terrific hotel with excellent accommodation, good and well appointed rooms, well decorated and very good helpful and caring staff. The staff tended to your every need both in the lounge or dining room. The hotel was lovely and warm and at no time did you feel cold. My only criticism was that the Wi-Fi was extremely poor and the...

A group of four couples returned to this hotel again for a long winter week end and once again were made very welcome indeed. The service is extremely friendly and helpful and the food was superb and very fairly priced. A gem.

A retreat with a wonderful view of the river Fowey. All areas clean tidy and the pool and spa at this time of year very welcome. Excellent cuisine both breakfasts and dinner. Will return in the future and hope the most attentive staff are still present.

An almost hidden gem. Situated in the small village of Golant, on a cliff, overlooking the lovely River Fowey. Rooms are clean and have varying balconies overlooking the river. The superior rooms have a walk-on balcony with a table and chairs. Even in cold December it was a delight to sit there and hear the gentle sound of the river...

Lovely hotel overlooking the River Fowey and situated in the small and pretty village of Golant. Parts of the hotel are a little dated but the stunning views make up for that. Hotel boasts a heated swimming pool and Spa which is situated at the top of a very steep drive. The food was excellent and all the staff friendly...

The location of this small quiet hotel is what makes it special, overlooking the River Fowey in the little Cornish village of Golant and perched on the steep valley side. The road upto the hotel carpark is not for the faint hearted but worth the effort on reaching the top. The hotel has a covered heated swimming pool and hot...
