We stopped here, instead of going into Helston, after seeing a sign for the inn. It's off the beaten track but we'll worth it- the food, decor, atmosphere and service were all great. It was also busier than we'd thought it would be. We had a smoked salmon s/w and minute steak Cornish Split, and both were delicious and decently...

Warm and friendly welcome on a sunny Sunday afternoon following a coastal walk around Gunwalloe and Poldue. There was a choice of four different roast meats. The vegetables came in separate serving dishes. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot and tasty. We sat outside after our meal admiring the sea view. Very good overall experience. We noticed the...

This pub is very country and a bit tired inside but not half as bad as some of the reviews i had read. It was a nice enough place to go for a drink after a walk down the beach and having dinner was ok, nothing of note and i actually don't remember what i even ate now.

This inn has a superb location, just off the coastal path, with breath taking views over to the sea. This isn't however a good enough reason to take advantage of customer's good will. Maybe they were just running short in the kitchen but when £7 is charged for a sandwich and a bit of salad on the side at the...

Lovely pub in a gorgeous setting , we had a fantastic homemade meal compliments to David and was made to feel exceptionally welcome by Claire & Ian & David & lady behind bar ( sorry didn't get your name ). A rare find & we will definitely return. Perfect in every way.

I normally don't review places but I thought this pub deserved a mention. We've never had a bad meal here, some great fish specials straight from the sea. My partner tells me the beer it kept perfectly and all the staff are so friendly and go the extra mile to please. Great veiws and very dog friendly. The previous owners...

Lunch outside overlooking the sea - not bad for March! Old pub with lots of atmosphere, food was well prepared and presented, and very reasonably priced. Good place for a pit stop after fabulous coastal walk.

We were told about this gorgeous little place by a friend. It did not disappoint. Just off the Southwest Coastal Path. Friendly, warm, dog loving and with gorgeous interior and superb food. Fresh, locally caught seafood. Will definitely be coming back. Please pop in and try this little gem of a place out.

We visited this pub we used to know very well and it was a complete disaster. The staff polite enough not the old locals that used to be here. The quality of the food has nose dived this isn't to say it was horrible it just wasn't up to the quality of the previous owners and somewhere we not be...

We've been going to the Halzephron for more years than i care to remember. Its always been good, but in the last 3-4 years its just been better than ever. Everyone is just so friendly and obliging and greet everyone like their most important regular, even on a first visit. The food is always a delight lunchtimes or evenings with...
