He answered all our queries, showed us around and provided careful instructions on how to use the Aga (which I definitely needed, my cooking is usually...

Lovely cottage, great location, but they simply didn't have wifi or Internet access. The owners claimed they did, even when we were there, but it just wasn't available. Having booked out of season, and brought some work projects to complete we had no option but to leave half way through our booking. The owners refuse to accept they have problem,...

We booked the cottage (called "The Dairy"). It is self contained with everything you could possibly want. Our hosts were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and the setting is delightful. Cannot recommend Rowan Barn too highly.

We were on a stopover on our way to the Scillies and Rowan Barn fitted the bill completely. Our room (Hazel) was not large but beautifully decorated with good pictures and the large bathroom very well appointed and pristine. We were made very welcome and breakfast was delicious.

Stunning breakfast with fresh marmalade and jams. A truly idyllic, peaceful (and very clean!) place to stay. We'll be doing self catering next time since we...

We had a two night stay here. Everything was excellent-large room with comfortable bed, spacious ensuite, delicious breakfast. Very secluded and peaceful surrounds and yet only a few miles from Hayle or Penzance. Huw and Sally were very helpful and full of information to enable us to get the most from our visit. We will recommend Rowan Barn to all...
