Not the biggest room but cozy and comfortable nonetheless making it fine for a night or two. Kingsand/Cawsand is never going to be cheap - being the quaint "picture/postcard" coastal village that it is means that it attracts many visitors from all points east of the Tamar. No problem with late night access and enjoyed an excellent breakfast cooked to...

We stopped at the Halfway House Inn for 4 days. Helen and Luke who manage the Inn, along with the rest of the staff, could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Food was good and the local 'choir' who frequent the bar every Wednesday were entertaining. We would definitely recommend a visit as good base for exploring Cornwall/Devon.

We visited Kingsand with our family and were delighted that the Halfway House Inn was on our doorstep. It's a lovely place to get something to eat or have a drink. Brilliant food and great choice of wines. The staff are helpful, couldn't do enough. Definitely take a visit if you are in the Kingsand / Cawsand area.

We do frequent the pub fairly regularly and it is a lovely pub, the inside had a facelift about 2 years with lovely light colours and rustic feel and it has kept really well, so a nice place to go for a drink. Unfortunately our food this time around was not up to scratch. The menu was well written and...

This was our first stay at this pub and we can highly recommend it. Helen and Luke, the new managers were very welcoming and friendly. They had only been working there three weeks but everything seems to run smoothly. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was huge with an amazing shower. The instructions for working the shower...

Walked to Cawsand around the coast path from Rame head - wandered in here for a pint and fish and chips, only people in the pub - glad we did, very welcoming, good beer and good food ! - would recommend and go again.

This used to be a warm and welcoming old pub at the heart of a Cornish Village where we enjoyed a winter warm by the open fire and mingling with fellow locals from around the area. Now refurbished for the second home set it has all the warmth and charm of a railway station cafe with a manager who has...

Know this pub well and loved how it has been done up. However our evening meal was spoilt by a rude manager and his lack of compromise when dealing with someone in our party that had a gluten allergy. We also had a soup that was served up tasteless and cold. Very poor choices for gluten free customers.

I do not usually review restaurants however, I felt that the restaurant at the halfway house inn that we stumbled across deserved a review as we had such a great experience. We arrived locally and were just taking a wander around and popped in for a little drink, late afternoon. The atmosphere was really lovely. staff were friendly and the...
