Lovely hosts and amazing place to stay, we had dinner on the Friday evening and was really good, better than eating out and even more tasty. The homemade breads were great and the lamb shank melted in the mouth- simply gorgeous!

Hotel was great, breakfast was really good. We contacted them before hand to request an early check in due to attending a wedding, very accomadating and had our room ready much earlier. Roads are a bit narrow and scary and night to those that don't drive on country lanes very often. Trust your SatNav, looks like your in the middle...

We stayed for two nights just to get away from London for a bit. It's the perfect place for a quiet break. The owners are very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. All the little touches like welcoming you by name and remembering what you like to eat and drink made it so much better. We were sorry we did not make...

the most welcoming, beautiful guest house/hotel we have ever stayed at - remember to book for dinner and you won't be disappointed - we had cream tea in the elegant lounge one day and that was fab too - cannot fault this place at all, I just recommend it

Superb room and great hospitality. The only draw back, though not major, was having to decide on your dinner menu the day before. We ate out , at the restaurant called the Hayloft, which worked well. We had a drink in the bar, on our return, which was sensibly priced.

This is a lovely, spacious and welcoming place to stay. Our room had two lovely views, one towards the viaduct and one to the front of the house. The public rooms downstairs are the perfect place to relax. My only suggestion would be that the breakfast room, which is lovely, could be made a little less stuffy by opening a...

We needed a place to stay near Liskeard, just for one night, and we came across Pencubbit house. Now we only wish we had had time to stay on for longer. It is a beautiful house, lovely rooms and we got a delicious breakfast. Also very nice host.

Pat & Julie always gives us a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Our room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable with lovely views over the garden and countryside beyond. Cannot recommend Pencubitt highly enough.
