My husband and I and our four year old son spent a couple of nights at the Penrose B&B for a short break - we were very impressed with the warm welcome, the beautiful house and garden, excellent breakfast (with Heidi's delicious homemade marmalade) and the very comfortable, spotless and spacious family room with fabulous view over Lostwithiel. Everything had...

We've just returned from a truly unforgettable week in Cornwall staying at this wonderful B+B in Lostwithiel, the Penrose is a quaint old house but with all mod cons it's well appointed, clean and totally homely the breakfast choices are superb with a wide range of cooked and continental options and making all this possible are Chris & Heidi who...

Lovely comfortable large bedroom with a marvellous view over the town. Lots of information and help available, wi-fi access...

Stay here for the best in a B&B/Guest House. Chris and Heidi did their utmost to make our stay perfect ... and succeeded. Clean, quiet, good food, perfect location to tour the area. I'd recommend Penrose to anybody. Thank you!

Couldn't be happier with our choice. Lovely large room with a view and en suite bathroom in a lovely large house. Really friendly, helpful hosts. Parking a wee bit tricky at the back of the house, but easily sorted. Will certainly book again when we return to Cornwall. And Lostwithiel is a lovely little town.
