We stayed for 3 nights prior to a house move and it was excellent. Immaculately clean and really helpful, friendly hosts. The room was first class. Without doubt, we would highly recommend the Sportsmans.

The pub here is lovely and the owners couldn't be nicer. The rooms are absolutely first class and decor is to a very high standard. I expected it to be very much like every other "pub/b&b" that I'd stayed at and didn't expect it to be as lovely as it was!! I will definitely stay here often, lovely views as...

Excellent stay at the Sportsmans Arms. The facilities are modern, very clean and really comfortable! The new owners are welcoming and very friendly, nothing is too much. Breakfast at the Sportmans Arms was lovely, brilliant choice of cereal, coffee, tea, fresh juice and a well cooked breakfast. The family room was huge, enough space for 2 adults, 2 children. It...

Fantastic hosts Rob and Christine did a fantastic job. Excellent beer and breakfast each morning of my stay. This local pub is a first class place to stay for business or for a base while exploring Cornwall.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely, peaceful location (if a little more remote than I expected!) Short walk to village through country lane (take care - no paths!) About three miles from Liskeard town centre. Would recommend for a short stay.

our stay at the hotel/public house was one of the best stays I have had, nice spacious rooms clean, and friendly staff. Christine And Rob gave us a nice warm welcome, and the Pub is a pleasant place to have a drink, with a wonderful beer garden at the rear, ample parking, a nice breakfast (light or full English, myself...

Very clean and well laid out bedroom and shower room. Great friendly owners and staff. Service great, location just right for an early start next day. Did not stay for breakfast . Nice atmosphere in the pub , bit noisy with 2 football matches and darts match too , but that somehow still felt good
