Travelled to the area to visit the Eden Project in the festive week. We received a warm welcome at the cosy bar after a long drive in the horrible traffic and were shown to our room. It was a lovely and spacious family room with a large bed and bunk beds for the kids which they loved. There was an...

Comfortable, clean and quiet hotel in a nice village. Onsite car parking. Friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely meal on Sat evening, but they stop serving food at 8pm, so get there early! Choice of light breakfast or full English. Little bit of mould in the corner of the bathroom, probably due to the fact that the extractor fan didn't work, and...

I very much doubt the menu or decor have been updated since the 70s. The only atmosphere is from the deep fat fryer as the bar area smells of fish and chips. There is only one reason to visit this pub - there is nowhere else nearby, but eat before you go!

Stayed for two nights here when visiting relatives in order to attend a 100th birthday party. If anyone comes here and dos t enjoy the hostility of both the owners and staff I must be missing something. I am well travelled and stop in hotels not only in the UK but also Europe on a regular basis and only wish...

We had to make a late booking with our dog, and it is always welcome to find somewhere that will oblige like the White Hart. The bar and accommodation were both very dated, but adequate, and there was no lack of space. However, the en suite left something to be desired. The shower cubicle is something of a hazard as...

Bit disappointed to be honest. Booked this hotel for my partner who was away on business and he was not happy with the accommodation at all. Firstly he arrived at the hotel at 7. Went up showered and changed and returned back downstairs at 8.15 to be told they stop doing food at 8pm. Bit naughty and they could of...
