A good old pub serving good food. It's a locals type pub with oldie worlde beams and wooden decor with a nautical theme. Located just off the harbour the exterior is inviting and you'll not be disappointed but don't expect what I would say was more than an average meal. Being in Cornwall we acquired a taste for good cider...

We just popped in for a drink and discovered the local G+T, well now we have a bottle at home! The staff were very welcoming and the ambience was lovely and cosy, next time we will have some food. I quite liked the décor with memorabilia etc around and the locals seem to frequent as well.

Got there late Sunday afternoon - only food available was a chicken dinner which was not spectacular - potatoes were very odd! Struggled a little with a wheelchair user as access points were quite tight Staff were nice and friendly

Well located Pub in the beautiful village of Mevagissy. Typical pub menu at typical pub prices. The Wi-fi was a bit naff but the staff service was pleasant and prompt. The food (chicken curry, tuna and baked potato, chips and garlic bread) was delivered to our wobbly table promptly. Baked potato was small and overcooked so my lad didn't eat...

We decided to pop to Mevagissey on the last evening of our holiday in Cornwall and have a meal, it was a lovely evening, very busy and managed to get a table at the Ship Inn. On first impressions, it was lovely old pub with a good atmosphere. The lady at the bar was very friendly when ordering food and...

Our last evening of our stay in Mevagissey and we decided to eat at The Ship Inn, we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive after chasing twice.... with two hungry children we felt this was very unacceptable. No real apology when food finally arrived. We were however told by bar staff that it had been...

This is a lovely pub in the centre of Mevagissey. It has a lovely atmosphere which is due to the age of the pub. We were a party of 9 and the reason why I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact we had to wait over an hour for food. However we came in at a busy...

We called into this establishment to escape the crowds in Mevagissey. The Ship Inn is certainly typical of the old English ale houses. There are meals served but we only had drinks. The bar staff were pleasant & the pub is also dog friendly. The decor also fits the age of the hotel.

Had dinner here after a long walk along the coastal path.We both choose variations from the fresh fish available on the menu and we were certainly not disappointed both our dishes were very fresh, well prepared and well presented.Service from staff was friendly and attentive .Good choice of wines and local beers in a very traditional setting.Whats not to like.

This is an annual haunt for us, as there is always a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is always good and reasonable prices. Look our for the specials board..I enjoyed bubble and squeak, pan fried with ham. It was brilliant and reminded me of childhood meals which made good use of those lovely Sunday lunch left overs.
