A beautiful location, overlooking the sea. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff really friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. We were very happy with our room, which was clean and well-appointed. We had dinner in the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was lovely.

The rear of the hotel where the old faded wood doors are the main entrance, appears rather tired. Once you open those doors though, you enter another world! The Vista lounge is the first thing that grabs your attention....vista is the right word with a superb panoramic view of the sea. Sumptuous sofas, interesting retro style (Ercol?) seats and interesting...

Have to agree with previous comments regarding the exterior looking very tired. It really could benefit from a paint, however internally the hotel was very impressive, especially the Vista Lounge with its amazing views. We had a great double aspect room with stunning views from all windows, across the attractive landscaped gardens and out to sea. Great to have a...

My husband and I have just spent a three-night DBB offer at the Polurrian Bay Hotel. We were accompanied by our dog, Emily. We were very impressed with the thought which had gone into our dog's comfort (cover for the bed, bowl and treats). Our room was a 'superior' sea-view room (110) but unfortunately, although we could see the sea...

Thank you very much for your comments and I am glad that overall you enjoyed your stay despite the service issues. It is something we are working to rectify so next time you come I feel sure you will not experience the same delays. The Spa Therapists do an amazing job and are now using Elemis products that are very...

The hotel facilities are great, the food was excellent, the rooms are lovely, but it's not a hotel to go if you don't have children. The lack of a bar for adults without kids was disappointing. Lovely views

Thank you for your review and really pleased you enjoyed our food and the hotel facilities. The hotel does gear itself towards the family market which is made very clear on our website and marketing material, however we do have very many guests stay who do not come with children, and indeed everyone is welcome. We have taken conscious decision...

This was my third visit within a 12 month period. The hotel itself is fantastic with breath taking views. Rooms are always clean. Staff never fail to provide great customer service. Toby the wine expert is very helpful. Food is great however the portions could be a little bigger. (I might just be greedy)

This was a special birthday overnight break with two children with Mum & Nana. We had two connecting twin bed rooms one with superb sea view - it would have been worth it for the sea view only. Bedrooms lovely, great beds & linen, large & airy and spacious bathroom. We swam, played in the games rooms and watched Star...

We arrived here having just left Fowey Hall which is also in this chain of hotels. The service at Fowey was outstanding and when we extended our holiday by booking this hotel, through reception at Fowey, they assured us that the baby listening service would be the same and our room would be fully equipped for our baby as it...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Polurrian and I am very sorry that it did not meet with your expectations. We have a different baby monitoring system to the other hotels in the group currently but hope to change this later in the year when we replace our telephone system. I do hope you come...
