We have just had a really great four night stay at Elmswood House. We were made very welcome on arrival by Graham and Angela. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a lovely view over fields and the village church. The breakfasts were superb, and Angela even provided delicious gluten free sausages from the village butcher. We took Graham...

My husband and I recently returned to Elmswood House as we had so much enjoyed our previous stay in this spotless, bright and pleasant location. We chose one of the bayfronted first floor rooms with a commanding view over the village and across the fields. Breakfast includes a wide choice of fresh local food which really set us up for...

Visited Elmswood House for the third time recently, Angela and Graham gave their usual warm welcome. The house is very comfortable, clean and ideally situated for exploring places of interest. This is especially good as I'm a keen photographer. Hope it won't be too long before my next visit!

This is an okay B&B, nice breakfast, etc, but unfortunately is located directly opposite a church which, in its wisdom, chooses to ring its bells every hour on the hour (or more often - I lost count) all through the night. It is, in effect, a wake-up call every hour. The room we had was at the front, so in...

This year, as in our previous years, we have had so many happy guests, many returning to stay again, many staying 5 to 7 nights, and many new guests even extending their original bookings by several extra nights. We have 38 excellent and 5 very good reviews, many from Trip Adviser senior reviewers and a Guest Book full of wonderful...

Stayed here for 4 nights, excellent room, very clean, and lovely breakfast. The couple running the b&b could not have been more helpful. Very close to a good bus route, and very good village Pub, serving good evening meals.

Excellent accommodation in a great location. We were served tea and biscuits in the lounge on arrival, which was very welcome. We had a king size room at the rear (No1) which has a generous en-suite with a window (although the glass panel in the door was a little unusual). Great breakfasts with a veggie option (order the previous night)....

We had a lovely stay here. We felt very at home. The room was clean and comfortable so much so that our son said it was like being at home! Stayed in the family room and was allocated a parking spot just outside our door. We were given a key to both doors making it easier when there are children...

Stayed for three nights in early July, excellent guest house, our en suite room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, breakfast was all we expected, car parking was an adventure but we managed to get our car into the guest house car park despite a very tight entrance.. Would certainly return.
