Had a two night stay, Fri and Sat night, here. As previous comments rooms are very dated now, but clean, cimfortable, and with complimentary cornish tea and coffee. Breakfast was included which was very filling, with lots of choices from full English, toast, fruit salad, yoghurts, and preserves. The pub across from the free parking car park, was excellent, good prices , live music, and good menu choice. The staff in both the hotel and pub were very friendly and helpfully, and for that I thank you all.All in all an excellent base for our two day motorcycle trip

Loved it here as we had our Rottie Nuala with us and it was perfect . She loved going out every morning to the paddock at the back. The reception staff were all really nice . We ate in the restaurant pub once and they had a band on so that made it a great night. Good spot for getting around Cornwall. We went to St Ives, Falmouth, Lizard Point, Penzance & Lands End

Just arrived back from 7 days at Tricky’s, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay there, nothing was too much trouble, all staff were super polite and helpful, we stayed with our 3 dogs, the staff loved them and the receptionists were very kind to them giving them treats all the time. Angie the breakfast staff was a pleasure to chat to and couldn’t be any more helpful, she is a complete asset to the tricky’s staff, she was an absolute joy. We were there for our anniversary week, having not been anywhere due to covid restrictions we were very much looking forward to a week away in our favourite part of the country. Didn’t fail. Rooms were always clean, fresh towels each day, food was lovely both at breakfast and in the restaurant. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. Clare and Emma Turner-Neale

From start to finish our stay was amazing, the location was perfect for us, very central to visit all parts of Cornwall, great value for money, the family room was a good size, cleaned daily beds made and fresh towels. The staff were brilliant very accommodating and very helpful. A special mention to the breakfast team, couldn’t do enough for you and the breakfast was lovely a good variety from full English to continental and unlimited, set us up for our long busy days out. Thank you we will defiantly be back 😀 cant recommend this hotel enough.

Absolutely beautiful surrounding grounds, awesome, helpful and cheerful staff, couldn't do enough to make our stay the best it could be. Went for a burger the first day in Trickies Bar, the best burger I've ever tasted, with home made chips and a fresh salad garnish, beautiful. The staff in the bar just mirrored the cheerful and bubbly attitude from the staff at the hotel. Would we be coming back to Trickies? Hell yes *****
