I stayed with my hubbie for 3 nights in a downstairs bedroom. Marnie & Mark met us with an immediate feeling of being able to take one's shoes off and settle in and the bedroom did not disappoint. Warm, light, cozy with easy to open and close windows and with a bed that is "SQUIDGE" personified! The high level of...

Booked by phone on the Friday for one night stay on Monday night. Found Lansdowne guest house easily ,met by Mark and shown room. Comfy room. Easy walk into town which was very quiet but interesting. Slept well and then enjoyed a full cooked breakfast. Would stay again. Only adverse comment, only the family room available but full price for...

I stayed here for 4 nights in a single room, no en-suite but the shower room was really close. It's a lovely guest house, the owners are really friendly and very helpful, breakfast was great. Good quality bedding, tv and kettle in room. It's in a very central position so only a short walk into Redruth high street. There is...

This was my 3rd visit to the Lansdowne Guest House (I visit family in Redruth) and I'm very impressed with it. The owner and his family are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and well-equipped. The location of this place is ideal too. Just 5 minutes walk from the...

We stayed in Redruth for two nights while attending our son's graduation ceremony at Truro Cathedral. We were very comfortable in our room there, and the choice of cooked breakfasts was impressive and the portions generous. It was useful having a fridge-freezer in the dining room for the use of guests. Parking wasn't an issue for us, but it could...

The staff at this architecturally pretty B&B were really kind, the breakfasts were generous and the beds were really comfortable with lots of cushions. Only problem was that the en-suite shower was broken for our entire trip, forcing us to have cold showers until management, upon prompting, said that actually there was a communal shower on the next floor that...

A two night stay was comfortable, quiet and a hearty breakfast provided. A great location from which to explore North and South coasts. Guests can use the dining room in the evening as well. Kennal Vale just 15 minutes away is a magical place to visit - a walk through a wooded vale that was once a gun powder factory....

One night stay in Redruth. This is a very nice family-run bed and breakfast which we stayed at while travelling around Cornwall. It is on a very nice street in Redruth, close to the station. The owners were away on bank holiday weekend, but the replacement staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The room with ensuite bathroom was very...

Stayed one night on business. Room was small but had everything that was needed. Great hosts. Breakfast was fresh. Would like to see the other rooms to be able to give it 5 stars. Maybe some details about how to find the car park on the website would be good!
