We stayed for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived until we left we found that our hosts could not be more welcoming and helpful. Mark arranged taxis for us and made bookings on our behalf at local restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble,...More

Lovely room which came with an on-suite shower/toilet. Tea/Coffee making facilities available in the room. Very good breakfast. No bad points that I can think of so we would definitely book again if we are in the area.

Would you please send prices for a room at your Guest House for the dates of October 6 to October 9. Thank you as we have read reviews for the Lansdowne House and are looking to staying there as we wish to visit our son in Redruth.

John & Susan, If you cannot get a room at the Lansdowne, try the Penventon Park Hotel, They often have offers on which incluse an evening meal and cream tea with a short break. We've stayed there too. its a lot bigger and has more facilities but we didn't get time to use them as we were also visting family. Don't be put off by the 3* rating, it should be higher but as its an old building they can't get the lifts in that are needed to be rated higher. Its quite grand with a piano player in the dining room in the evening. The Penvention & Lansdowne are both close to the train station and easy to tget to. pauline
