Friendly pub just across from the beach serving traditional pub food reasonably priced, with large inside and outside eating areas. We had the curry of the day with poppadom and nan bread, which was a little bland but still tasty. We would return if in the area again.

This restaurant must have changed hands since last year 2016, the meal we had was ok, lacked elements that are usually present the type in food served, very abrupt answers to questions no customer service at all, long waits for food and not a lot happy customers, for a Friday bank holiday weekend more than half the tables were empty,...

Family of 4 plus dog popped in for Saturday lunch. I can thoroughly recommend The Smugglers Inn. 4 meals plus non-alcoholic drinks came to £49. Staff very friendly. Service quick. Good range on menu from lighter bites to fish and chips or burgers. Dogs friendly Inn both inside and out. Very close to dog friendly beach and car park. I...

Great little pub right on the beach at Seaton. I expected it to be expensive as it's only one Of three food outlets but I was wrong. I usually go to the beach cafe across the road but it was closed at 4.45! I'm so glad it did though as I wouldn't have found this little treasure! Food was stunning...

I stayed here for work but ended up having a lovely time with locals and landlady/ landlord. Fabulous friendly environment. This pub has been recently taken over by the landlady and landlord who are introducing a new menu and environment to this wonderful local pub. They offer B+B as well. The rooms are cosy and clean and the service is...

Had a great ice cream and service from this inn. Lady couldn't have been nicer and more helpful when I asked for ice cream on a cold February afternoon! Looking forward to trying the food! Good access for wheelchairs.

Friendly staff. We had the Sunday Carvery which was reasonably priced. Would go again if we were in the area. We arrived approximately at noon and the restaurant soon started to get very busy. Adequate parking nearby and close to the beach.

Warm and welcoming. Very picturesque setting by the sea. We had a delicious carvery on Sunday afternoon! We had booked a table over the phone with no problems. Everything was cooked well, lots of choice and something for everyone. My daughter is a vegetarian and had to have separate gravy. Staff were all attentive to our family's needs! Will definitely...

Visited yesterday for a family birthday celebration, 7 of us in total and we were all made very welcome. We chose from the specials board and would highly recommend the sea food platter, this consisted of twisted and butterfly prawns, cod pieces and squid rings all in a light batter, served with chips and salad and a spicy sauce. The...

My daughter and i parked up easily as there is plenty of parking at and around the Smuggleers Inn. Wlalked in at 1pm on a Sunday and managed to get a table for lunch. Tables had reserved cards on them but the barmaid said this was to stop people just taking a table! Think they prefer to give you a...

Many thanks for your review Sandy, Sundays is one of our busiest days and we normally advise customers to book in advance. The tables are all reserved so that we can accommodate as many people as possible who would like to join us for carvery on the day as well as our customers who have pre booked. Glad you enjoyed...

Hi Rosie,

We are a dog-friendly pub. However, we do have a Dog Policy; which accounts towards the behaviour and presentation of the dog. I.e. if your dog isn't behaved or is dripping wet (straight from the sea), we will ask that you dry him off before coming in.
