We stayed from the Friday until the Monday Morning and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with Fruit, Yoghurts, Croissants & Parties, Toaost with homemade Jams & Marmalades and a choice of 7/8 Hot Breakfast choices. Generous portions and tasty with really friendly fun staff whether you were in the Hotel, Bar...

My partner and adult son visited this once superb place on a beautiful Spring afternoon. We arrived at 2.15. The bar service was desultory. When we ordered food we were told that "you've got four minutes to order as the kitchen shuts at 2.30" The food , when it arrived was wrong. When the right food arrived, it was shocking....

Stayed at this great hotel again. Good clean room and can take my dogs. Ate in hotel on first night and found meal very disappointing. Meat was tough even though meant to be slow roasted! Usually meals are good. Breakfast staff great as was the breakfast. Lights outside came on as soon as we reached top step. ( another reviewer...

Only popped in for a beer and coffee but was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff thought it only right to review The Driftwood Spars. The bar area is very cosy and I would imagine wonderful on a cold winters day when the fire is alight. The beer was brewed there and was excellent. Dogs are very very...

Dropped in for lunch today as part of the beer festival. Welcomed by a friendly bar team who introduced all the beers and a lunchtime menu to accompany them. Normal lunch menu also available catering for all with light bits and children's menus through to full meals. Good choice, well prepared and tasty. Bar welcomes children and dogs. Lovely setting...

What a lovely pub, felt very traditional with lots of history to it. Child and dog friendly which is always a bonus for families, the pub is a fab quirky find in a beautiful little town right next to the beach. Food and ale was great and nothing was to much trouble from the staff. This pub is well worth...

Went one lunchtime and we were really disappointed in view of some of the good reviews. The beers were wonderful bur it was a major effort for the staff supposed to be serving to move away from a table with her friends to return to the bar to serve customers and the food was at best mediocre. Not worth the...

Stayed for three nights attending a friends wedding at this hotel. We had room 2 which was lovely, two big windows with a great view of the beach & sea. En suite was a very large shower (which I had asked for) ad was very clean and well equipped with soaps etc. The hospitality tray was well serviced and biscuits...

Just returned from a weekend break at Driftwood spas in St Agnes with our two small dogs. Not stayed in St Agnes before but thoroughly fell in love with the place. Driftwood Spa was also a lovely place to stay. Lovely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome and at home. We had one of the Annex rooms which...

We just returned from another great stay at the Driftwood Spars with our four-legged friend! As before, we were made to feel very welcome with our dog. We were given an apartment with direct access on to the little garden and we hadn't stayed there before. It wasn't as big as the one we stayed in previously but was definitely...
