We were warmly welcomed by Ray and shown to our large, comfortable room at the top of the stairs overlooking the courtyard. The room was ornately furnished, the bed comfortable, chairs, TV, WiFi and tea and coffee. The ensuite was adequate and very clean. Ray cooked a full English breakfast and was very willing to answer all questions and give...

We were lucky enough to find this lovely B&B when desperately trying to find overnight accommodation for a flying visit to Cornwall for my son's graduation in Falmouth, 23 miles away. What a lucky find. Roy was really helpful when booking our room and was prompt in sending all the information we needed for our trip. We stayed in The...

I think this is the second "graduation guests" we've had stay here. Glad you had an enjoyable stay. Nice to see proud parents and their successful prospective reporter who has already secured a job in London! Would be great to see you again sometime. Good luck to you all.

Stayed there for 6 nights, comfortable clean room, with tea & coffee facilities topped each day, quiet area to stay near town centre. Cooked breakfast was nice. Ray was very helpful with booking and throughout our stay. Would stay here again if we were back in this area.

My partner and I had the Butlers Room on the ground floor for 2 nights. It was a little cramped for two people but it was clean and tidy. The bedding was immaculately clean and fresh but we only had 1 pillow each so we used the cushions that were on the bed but it was not very comfortable. The...

Thanks for your kind remarks. Glad you enjoyed your stay. I must remember to inform visitors in the Butler's Room that there is a "bag of pillows" under the bed. You unzip the bag, and then you have 2 extra pillows! There is a freestanding rack adjacent to the sink for "extra" things like make-up, etc. The bathroom has a...

Lovely little b&b close to St Austell town centre. We have recently stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed it, the room was clean and nicely decorated and had tea and coffee making facilities. Ray was very helpful right from the point of booking and all the way through our stay and very accomodating with our breakfast requests. Would not...

What a great name: Billy Oh! Billy, the organiser, and his 2 friends were a delightful trio. They came down to visit the Eden Project and enjoyed the experience. I am so pleased they enjoyed their stay here, too. If ever I'm in Saffron Walden I will make a point of visiting your restaurant. I'm very pleased you enjoyed yourselves....

Easy to find, homely bed and breakfast, great friendly helpful owner, walking distance to all amenities in St Austell. Plenty of maps and tourist info available at the hotel, alongside Roy's limitless knowledge of routes, etc. Comfortable room, comfy bed and good shower. Lovely homemade bread for breakfast alongside cereals and jams etc. Plus fresh cooked English breakfast if required.

My husband, myself and our energetic 2 year old stayed for one night at the end of july. We stayed in the nursery room, which was spacious and brilliant for our needs. And most importantly had a downstairs space which meant we didn't have to sit in silence and the dark as the little one went to bed! The room...

...and a lovely little family. I'm pleased they had a "successful" stay. I must confess, I have never considered the shared sitting areas as a respite! I'd forgotten that when the little ones go to bed, they are normally left alone in their own room. But it worked a treat and is worth mentioning to visitors with children. Thanks for...

We booked this B&B for a couple of nights as we had business in the area. Booking seemed to get a little confused and required a few emails to clarify things. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable but we felt a bit hemmed in as (contrary to other guests' comments) we didn't feel it was at all spacious....

I'm sorry these guests did not enjoy their stay. Some background information needs clarifying. The initial booking was for a 2 night stay. This was modified some time after, and an extra night was requested. I offered 3 consecutive nights in our twin room, rather than spending 2 nights in the Butler's Room and the third in the Maid's Room....

Wedding guests are always welcome; their anticipation pervades the whole place and organised chaos seems to rule: great stuff! I'm pleased we managed to help them have a good time. Hopefully, they might wish to stay again to visit the newly weds; you would be very welcome. Thank you for taking the trouble to make your comments.
