This was our second visit to this hotel and spa and we were so delighted with everything we decided to stay on another night! My daughter and I love everything about this place. The Spa is highly recommended - the staff (Verity - Lydia and Sadie are the most welcoming and professional you could wish for. Treatments were not expensive...

Stayed here on a business trip for two nights with my partner. The spa is outrageous & freezing cold. There's no HOT in hot tub. It's so cold we was in there 2minutes. My self had planned to get a treatment on my stay so I asked at reception for a menu of treatments and prices. They didn't have any...

Today we visited the clearing spa with an afternoon tea through the virgin experience day. When we arrived we could not believe how pretty the surroundings were - it certainly helped it was sunny however it would still look beautiful in all weather! The receptionist was welcoming and friendly in the spa and offered robes and towels. The changing rooms...

First impressions on driving through the grounds up to the hotel were that the grounds looked very well kept with large sweeping lawns surrounded by a wooded area. The is also a children's play area at the front of the hotel beyond the patio area. We were greeted very pleasantly by the staff of reception, given our keys and directed to...

Friendly staff at this hotel with the Elephant restaurant and bar, great food and wine. There is also an indoor pool and spa. The hotel is a little tired and dated and the pool area and changing rooms are being modernised. The spa team were helpful and the massage was relaxing, although book early as there were only two treatment...

The Cornwall Hotel Spa and Estate is ideally situated close to St Austell town centre but still in the country on the Mevagissey Road. The bedrooms were nicely appointed and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was good with a varied choice. The staff friendly and helpful. One point for shorter people. The shower was over the bath and the...

Thanks for your comments. Delighted you enjoyed your stay, I take your point about the showers....a bit of lateral thinking by our maintenance team is required ...methinks! JLF

This hotel has got a big problem with their fire alarm system. I have stayed there four times and on two occasions the fire alarm went off. The fire brigade came and it turned out to be a false alarm. No apologies were given on either occasion. The breakfast is poor value for money. Some of the rooms have got...

Thank you for your comments. Its always difficult to comment on a fire alarm incident, procedure was followed and although an inconvenience, really is there for your safety. I apologize if one of the team did not apologize to you personally, once the all clear is given, guests usually disperse quite quickly...but I also know the reboot procedure for the...

Gorgeous relaxing pool and spa, and beautiful bar and restaurant! Breakfast is fantastic! We have been as a couple and also with the whole family including two young children. Although definitely more an adults hotel they...

I stayed here 2 nights on business and loved The Cornwall. It's a stunning hotel in beautiful grounds. Rooms are chic, well appointed and have lovely big balconies with scenic views. The gym and spa are very well equipped and the whole place has a luxury feel to it. I didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that...

Thank you for your comments. It is that time of year when the estate is waking up from winter, we are busily cleaning balconies, gardening etc for the new season, I am sorry you were in a room we haven't reached yet...there are only a few left to do. It is also the time we are taking on our Summer...
