Such a cute hotel. The rooms are a little dated but they are immaculately clean, towels are fluffy, beds are very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are plentiful with great choice. Excellent location. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
We had a lovely stay at this establishment very clean, good food and the staff are very professional. We asked if they had an extra night, they could not accommodate us but recommended us to a very nice establishment. They can not do enough for you brilliant stay. Thank you.
Discovered this excellent budget hotel on Bookings.com. With no expectations and such a good rate that includes breakfast we were more than surprised and impressed with the room, staff, parking and food. Breakfast was incredible, plenty of choices beautifully cooked and quick. Rooms could do with a little TLC but are comfy, clean and warm. The team seem to work together and this makes for a happy and friendly stay. Thanks and good luck.
We ate dinner twice at the White Hart in the week we stayed in St Austell and each time the food was well cooked and plentiful. The service was attentive and the menu has plenty of choice. Highly recommended.
Popped in on the off-chance. So glad we did. Quite possibly the biggest and tastiest roast dinner ever. Choice of 5 meats. Opted for the regular size. Came with 8 yes 8 gorgeous crisp roasties with a huge stack of meat alongside an enormous Yorkshire pudding. 4 different veggies and very tasty gravy. All for only £14.95 which included a choice of 5 or 6 desserts. I had the steamed date and orange pudding, husband had the citron tart. Both were epic. Will return if we are in the area again.
accommodation was fine, price point good as breakfast included. The people were excellent , friendly and up beat , a pleasant surprise, food was good . parking helpful , stairs can be a bit steep but couple of nights no problem
Wonderful hotel, great staff, good food and a very warm welcome. Couldn’t ask for more. We were lucky with the weather, but still found things to do when it rained. Everything slick and span throughout.
We stayed here for a couple of nights bed and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable and had all the things you come to expect - kettle, tea, coffee, hairdryer, tv etc. Bathroom a good size and clean with toiletries. Breakfast had enough choice and was tasty. Car parking was availble.
If you're planning a stay at this pub, make sure you're not in room 13, it's 2 star at best. And if you're expecting what you see in the pub's pictures online you'll be horribly disappointed. The pictures here show what to expect from room 13. The bathroom is disgusting - it looks like it was installed in the 1980s and has barely been touched since. The taps have to be turned and turned and turned before any water comes out, only a dribble of water comes out of the shower, and the shower hose is thick with black mould. Plus there's no shaver point for electric shavers or toothbrushes. It's a terrible shame because the owners are lovely, and the restaurant is great, serving some of the freshest food we've had. But this room really is horrible - and not cheap at over £100 per night.…
Stayed 2 nights. Quaint little room but everything in the room you would expect. Bathroom was a decent size, clean and tidy, good water pressure. Bed was comfy, just not used to a double bed. We like a king. Staff were friendly. Food was well cooked and plenty of choice. Breakfast was lovely.
