We had our first stay here a few days ago, we have always stayed in the Top House inn and fancied a change, we were not disappointed! Austin and Linda were very welcoming, the room had a sea view, and Austins' breakfast is brilliant, he cooks what you want, and it sets you up for the day! The room was...

I finished my annual May week in Cornwall with a 2 night stay at the Caerthillian. I discovered it several years ago and by now it's a must to round off my annual Cornish trip. The house is superb early Victorian, kept to an immaculate standard of tasteful modern decoration by its host Austin and his wife. He is the...

Arrived very tired but host was most welcoming and understood all we wanted was a meal and sleep. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were very clean and pleasant. No noise in the village. Would stay there again. Host explained to us where to find food for the following day and left us a note explaining where a specific church was....

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights bed and breakfast and we were immediately made to feel welcome. The rooms, bed and bedding were so lovely and we both slept like a logs. We had a perfect breakfast on both mornings and we will definitely stay again. We have stayed on many occasions in the lizard...

I was on my 15th day of walking around the South west coast path wild camping and had just covered the 19.5 miles from Praa Sands on a wet mid May afternoon. With the terrain approaching the Lizard proving difficult for me to find a flat spot to camp and with my clothes in need of a good dry I...

Beautiful place to visit, The Caerthillian Guest House is a lovely B&B. Rooms very clean and tidy, lovely typical cornish breakfast cooked by Austin :) Really close to Lizard Lighthouse and with 10 minutes walking you can see amazing landscapes. I will come back:)

Wonderful Bnb, perfect stay. Austin is a brilliant host and made us a home away from home. Best food quality, fresh fruit salad every morning (not from cans), Nutella, really everything else so tasty. Fully recommended! The rooms and bathrooms were just beautiful and very clean. Private parking. Helpful ideas where to spend the day, nice smalltalks. If we return,...

We returned here for 3 nights for my wife's birthday in July. Austin and Linda are really great hosts and our room was comfortable, spotless and very well equipped. Austin's breakfasts are legendary and did not disappoint. Knowing it was my wife's birthday, the toast was adorned with a lighted candle/a very thoughtful touch. This couple are very helpful and...
