We recently spent three nights at this beautiful location, staying in the King Suite which was the lower unit in the chalet. Every aspect of this experience was five star. Wonderful hosts, beautifully manicured property and pride of ownership evident everywhere. Highly recommend.

After returning from Jamaica, I shared my trip details with a friend , who, informed me that she was planning a trip to Manitoulin Island . She had not found anyone to accompany her , so I said I would go with her . This trip was for July 1-3/16 . We drove following Google instructions which became an adventure...

We stayed at the Lodge in July. It was great! Karen and Klaus were very hospitable. They made us feel very welcome and greeted us warmly. The King Suite is very clean and cozy with comfy décor. The grounds are amazing! Pride of ownership is evident in the gardens and there is a nice balance between manicured and wild property...

Karen and Klaus never disappoint! Only a short stay. Great accommodations and the breakfast on the deck was fabulous. This is one of our favorite places to recharge and relax. Make it your base camp or park your car and relax. We chose to park and relax with a couple of canoe rides on Green Bay.

A wonderful retreat. We arrived to a friendly tail wagging dog and a welcome from the owners. Our apartment was very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen and a view of the bay. A tasty European breakfast is available at a very reasonable charge on the stone terrace or screened in porch overlooking the water.

After two nights of camping and the rain closing in we were looking for a nice bed and a place to shower. I gave Klaus a call and luckily on Thanksgiving they were not only open, but had room for us. We could tell how friendly they were as soon as we met Klaus and Karen. They welcomed us and...

My wife and I spent two wonderful days of our honeymoon at Green Bay Lodge. The lodge has a fantastic setting directly at Lake Manitou. Both garden and house are extremely well-kept and nicely arranged. The hosts, Karen and Klaus, were really friendly and knowledgeable. Don't miss the Cup & Saucer Trail (very close by) and the Bridal Veils Falls...

My husband and I arrived here on a beautiful fall day. The owners were outside working in the yard and greeted us with the statement "we have a surprise for you". They had upgraded us from the room we originally had booked to the suite. It was beautiful! It was a fully equipped suite and our view looked out over...

This setting on Green Bay of Lake Manitou, is spectacular! Thoughtfully landscaped with a meandering perennial garden, pier for canoeing (boats available for your use!), swimming, fire pit and several lawn areas for relaxing. There are several room choices. We stayed in the “Studio”, an airy space with a cathedral ceiling and a picture window facing the water. A balcony...

The hosts, Claus and Karen, are fantastic hosts. The place is gorgeous. Attention to detail. Very comfortable, quiet, clean, and friendly. A lot to do and see. The sun rise is gorgeous from your room. They have a boat tour. Everything you need for a Bon fire. Excellent view of the lake from your patio. If you take the ferry...
