We really enjoyed our recent stay at Millisle B&B. If you are looking for charming Victorian decor and equally charming and interesting hosts, this is the place! It would be particularly lovely in summer with the big wrap around porch with views of the river and rolling lawn. Debra is a trained chef and breakfast was the best meal we...

The hosts at Millisle B&B are certainly amongst the greatest ! This huge house is 175 years old and in such great condition, it is so welcoming and comforting. Merrickville Village is one of the oldest and most appreciated good old town still attracting tourists from all across North America and worldwide. The chef and co-owner, Debra, cooks for guests...

I visited the Millisle Bed and Breakfast for the first time this year. It's a very special place as my Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother lived there. I actually got to sleep in the room where my Great Grandmother was born which was very cool. The hosts were so incredibly sweet and helpful, sharing any knowledge that they had...

My fiancé and I stayed at the Millisle last weekend and had a wonderful experience there. The owners are so sweet and amazing hosts, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere all around was lovely. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the above and beyond hospitality :)

We did an impromptu stop to Merrickville on our way home from NB. We fell in love with the town! As we were walking around we passed by Millisle B &B and absolutely loved the ambiance so we went straight in and booked a night for the following week. Best decision ever! We felt like we were invited guests in...

The Inn itself is a heritage bldg in beautiful straight out of a Harlequin Romance village. Our room was on the 3rd floor, so don't do what we did and bring in a large suitcase, it was quite the climb. The Canadiana was the name of our room, a perfect king bed lots of large pillows a claw foot tub...

Every year, my best friend and I have a girl's weekend in a small town in Ontario. We look for either Inns, Manors or B&Bs that have a historical aspect. Three years in a row, we have stayed in old Victorian homes. This one was one of the smallest but it certainly did not lack in charm! What I liked...

Merrickville was our final stop on a five-day holiday which also included Kingston and Gananoque. We couldn't have chosen a more appropriate way to finish up a very enjoyable and busy vacation. We were spoiled from start to finish and it is no exaggeration to say we were treated like royalty. On what was one of the most humid and...

We recently traveled down the Rideau by boat, and stayed at Mill Isle on the the way down, and 1840 on the way back. They were both very good, but very different B&B's. The B&B is located about 150m away from the closest dockage in the upper basin - an easy walk. Mill Isle is in a character house with...

We stayed at the Millisle B&B for a wedding on the first weekend in August. Everything about the Millisle is wonderful. The room we had was lovely and beautifully decorated. The clawfoot tub was perfect for a luxurious soak. The bed had the most comfortable mattress in the world. My husband, who has a hard time sleeping in a bed...
