If you like 5 star its not for you . Good Caravan sites , shade and picturesque setting but amenities need updating.... More

We arrived with our camper trailer and were warmly greeted. Although the park is a little old, the amenities were clean and in good working order. We went out for the day and left our chairs & towels out & realised our folly on our way back. A thunder storm rolled through the mountains but when we arrived back our... More

Great value, warm hospitality and excellent local knowledge of the district including the active trout localities. Lars, the Swedish owner, shared his gems of wisdom, gave me a free fly-casting lesson and smoked our trout for us using mountain ash (photo attached). My friends stay here regularly to access the local fishing spots and I will definitely be returning with... More

Im completely surprised by some of the previous reviews! We spent a fantastic 4days in one of the mobile homes with our two young daughters. This is not five star city living but peaceful, simplicity at its best! All the essentials and a little bit more (all kitchen appliances, TV, plenty of heating, electric blankets & free wifi). It was... More

My wife, daughter and myself travelled from Darwin to experience a white, cold winter for the first time in years, and a 1st time for our daughter. We booked the alpine tourist park as it was close to Mt Selwyn snow fields, and suited our budget. About a week later, when checking out trip advisor, I came accross the previous... More

Hi we stayed for 2 nights after being booked in for 4. We are a family of 4 so they booked us into a mobile home - for a rate of 150 per night. We were shocked by the absoulte filth of the cabin when we were shown in. The toilet was loose - the kitchen was so dirty and... More

After having stayed in this accommodation last week (July 2011), it feel it is necessary that the general public and eager holiday go-ers can access a review about Alpine Tourist Park (as I know that I ALWAYS visi trip advisor before booking for for reviews). We chose to visit Selwyn Snowfields and the nearest accommodation is at Adaminaby, NSW. Being... More
