I would call this a budget motel that charges at the high end of mid range. By revamp I mean that the towels, washers & floor mat in the bathroom need chucking. Same with the bed linen, the wafer thin pillows & most certainly the bed.

This is the second time I've stayed here Spacious room. Very clean Excellent location. Attached pub has great food and wood fired pizza as well. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Plenty of parking

Good quality room and helpful staff. Very obliging in changing booked room to a family room when hubby and daughter ended up joining me on the trip. Hubby and daughter had meal in the dining room - meal was "okay", kids meal was a bit bland and salad unappetising.

We stayed in room 20, a comfortable clean and very functional family room. Beware the staff! We were a complete inconvenience. My husband and I arrived separately on a cold winter night. He was not allowed to check in or given a key because the booking was in my name...so he was left to wait outside in the dark!!!! Really???...

Good stay overall and very friendly staff. Enjoyed the bistro and pub very much. The only problem is that it was quite hard to sleep at night. The bed was quite hard and the room (number 10) lit up by the bright car park lights, as blinds are semi-translucent. Blockout blinds or a good curtain would solve the problem. There...

This motel was a cosy, comfortable and relaxing room. We were in room 20 which had a working a-c, a mimi fridge, a large bathroom, a family room and a separate bedroom for the kids. This motel was quiet considering being next to a pub and i would definitely recommend tag you stay at this motel

Average sort of accommodation in Bowral but it suited us for our needs. The location is good on Bong Bong street and handy to the town centre. The rooms are pretty comfortable and the beds were nice and cosy. I thought the price was a bit steep but I guess that is just Bowral because most other places were more...

At $195 for one Saturday night, the owners of The Imperial are having a laugh. Though I guess there's no real competition in this part of town. We didn't have any issues with Reception or check-in but found the room less than satisfactory. The grout in the bathroom was black with mould, a light switch cover was broken, power points...

Basic with City Price Tag, large rooms and can accommodate large families. Close to bar and restaurants but value is based on City weekenders and not for what it is. Every hotel/motel should supply bottled water in room, this one doesn't so make sure you bring your own.

The rooms were nice but nothing more than you'd expect from a motel. I'd agree the staff are sour but when asked questions they would be helpful. The plumbing is not great eg you can hear other people running water, but our children slept through, so it's more annoying rather than disturbing. The biggest noise is provided by the train...
