The most welcoming and friendly hostel in Byron Bay! Me and my boyfriend have just finished spending over two months living at the hostel after falling in love with Byron (we only had two nights booked originally). Every single member of staff are LEGENDS! The hostel is small compared to others in Aus therefore keeps it more personal everyone says...

I originally chose Holiday Village because they offer free surfboards to guests. It costs on average about $20 a day to rent a board in Byron, and as I knew I wanted to surf every day it was an obvious way to save quite a bit of money. It's also conveniently located right next to the best supermarket in town...

Fun and welcoming place to stay! We got upgraded to the apartment style and loved it in there! (I recommend apartment style if you don't want to share bathrooms and kitchen space with more people!) 8 people max. in apartment style and only $3/night extra. The Aussie BBQ hosted was pretty good and great food for only $10 all you...

I recently stayed for 5 nights in this hostel. Our first impressions were fantastic considering it is on the MAIN street of Byron Bay and opposite the best backpacker bar Cheeky Monkeys. Check in was very efficient, friendly and helpful! Be aware that we paid a $40 deposit between two for a shared key and two bed sheets. Our room...

We spent 4 days here. Awesome mini appartments for 2 rooms/8 ppl with own bathroom, kitchen and livingroom. Gives a lot of privacy and at the same time creates a lot of community with the other roomies in the flat ;) Nice swimmingpool, environment and bike and board rentals... everything you need! Definitely reccommend it! :)

The rooms were clean and the showers were pretty good. You don't get wifi in the rooms and the staff were REALLY rude. There was a good atmosphere with the others people staying though. Probably wouldn't stay again.

There was only one plug socket per four person dorm. We were also met with additional deposits to be paid on arrival for damages and $20 per key required, which other hostels haven't asked for. Cutlery and crockery was only available for hire at $1 per item, which left the feeling of being mistrusted. Overall, this had the feel of...

Stayed for 3 nights with friends, working out way down the coast. The staff were so friendly and very helpful to us during our stay. Facilities were great- had our own kitchen and bathroom (shared with one other room). All you can eat BBQ on a Saturday night- was delicious! A walk away from the beach and also close enough...
