Hostel is right by the beach and about a 10 min walk from town. Shuttle bus service available from greyhound stop which was nice. Staff who picked us up were nice, some reception staff were a little stressy and didn't make you feel too welcome. Rooms basic, but clean and comfortable. Kitchen too small for the amount of guests and... More

Traveling solo I loved staying at the Backpackers Inn. From the girl who picked me up at the bus station offering to walk wait for me to go to dinner to the super friendly folks at the front desk and travel desk... Everyone was genuinely nice and that translated to the guests too. Otherwise.. it's a Backpackers hostel with all... More

Don't know how anyone could leave a bad review for this place. As soon as you walk in the staff have huge smiles on their faces and are so warm and welcoming (plus there's a dog!!!!). We stayed here 3 nights and loved it. We did a surf lesson with (one of the) simon (s). It was fun and he... More

Nice location close to the beach and centre. Bathrooms and kitchen are fine. Very nice common room, free WiFi, super nice garden where you can chill all day long. Loved the athmosphere. Maybe just a little noisy late in the night and early in the morning (especially in the share )

Huge place next to the beach. I don't know how many people could stay at the hostel but it's massive for sure. Free Wifi and special days a plus. BBQ and cinema nights for example. Rooms have lockers and are big as the hostel. Reception ok. Didn't tell us many things about Byron or the hostel. Cleaness is ok for... More

I booked my trip to Byron last minute and ended up here but couldn't have been happier. They had very cheap surf board rentals and I think even did lessons. It's the only hostel with direct access to the beach which was nice. My first night there I heard obnoxious music blaring outside my room and I went to leave... More
