There's no point complaining about the fact that most guests are stoners who just decided to move here whilst traveling. The common areas are good enough, plenty of places to hang out, have a drink etc. The pool is not great but it is an asset. Not the greatest care when it comes to cleaning and tidiness. *I can't understand...

I loved byron in general and the hostel was just great! The rooms and kitchen were clean and everyone was so friendly! If you wanted to party you could but if you didn't want to you could watch TV or DVDs in the common room with everyone else staying in, there's literally something for everyone! The only thing was it...

Out of town a little yet really quiet and laid back with good staff and a free shuttle bus to town numerous times a day. Rooms are good size and staff very cool and helpful. A lot of guests had come for a day or two and ended up staying for weeks and we could see the attraction.

This place was absolutely incredible. Most definitely home from home. The place has an amazing vibe and the staff and management are so helpful. A number of people I spoke to at the hostel had visited for a few days and were Still there months later. You can bring your own alcohol but you can also chill out and get...

This is by far the worst hostel i have ever stayed in, in terms of management! The so called 'night manager' Gregory had called us the night of our arrival to ask how long we would be because he wanted to get drunk. He said we could park anywhere in the hostel parking and so we did! In the morning...

Pros: nice swimming pool, hammocks, own fridge in the door room, strong fan, comfy beds/pillows, clean kitchen, BYO alcohol, friendly atmosphere, reasonable showers. Cons: just a little too far out the centre to walk there & back, shuttle service infrequent between 1pm and 5pm, shuttle bus likes to set off before the allocated time which is very irritating, cleaning lady...

Truely enjoyed our stay here. A bit out of town, but they provide free bike hire & shuttle bus, and it only takes 15 min to walk in to town. The kitchen was great with lots of cooking geart, people were considerate and cleaned up after themselves, doesn't happen very often! Cool staff, free wifi. Would definitely stay here again!...

The hostel picked us up from the bus station, which is in Byron town, it's a 5 min car ride and a 15 Minuit walk. There's nothing around the hostel so if you need anything you have to walk or the hostel provide a shuttle that takes you in regully which is good! The doorms themselfs were really nice and...

The staff here were really helpful. I was in an 8 bed dorm - it was fairly dingy and smelt a bit, but was good for a night. The best bit about it was the free, unlimited WIFI - great considering it was pouring down with rain when we were at Byron. They have a good shuttle bus to get...
