This was an interesting little place to stay with breakfast in the Courtyard, shared with a little water dragon and snake. The owner was very helpful and the B&B was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in walking distance and a trip to the Byron Bay lighthouse is a must.

From the moment we arrived until the time we left our stay was very enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very much at home. The room was of a good size, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent value for money and included a wonderful fresh fruit salad. The position is also excellent, situated...

Ruskin house is a nice B&B, with friendly owners. The best things about it is its location though- easy walk to town, but nice and quiet. We enjoyed a couple of nights here and liked how easy it was to come back after an afternoon on the beach, to then go out again for dinner!

Ruskin House is a great base if you want to be in the heart of Byron. We stayed here for a weekend and loved that fact that we could walk everywhere easily, but it was far enough away that it was quiet for sleeping. Our room was spacious and comfortable with nice touches such as complimentary (cold!) water, chocolates and...

Cute little cottage on the main street, but walking distance out of the hustle and noise. The misleading thing is that the price only includes the bed, and the breakfast is extra. But other than that, it's a great place to stay in Byron Bay.

My stay at the Ruskin house was amazing! Lukas was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make my stay very comfortable. He was always available to answer my questions and offer a freshly made cappuccino or coffee (even to a visitor that came to see me during my stay) The room was great! Air conditioning, refrigerator, flat...

We stayed here for six nights in July 2013. We originally booked four nights but decided to stay an additional two, since we enjoyed Byron Bay so much. Ruskin House was a short walk into town and to the Brewery where we ended up hanging out on more than one evening. The room was in the back and was well...

Ruskin house is in the perfect location - close enough to the action that you can walk everywhere, but far enough away that it's quiet. The rooms are clean, comfortable and homey. Be sure to check out miss margarita's while you're in byron, best mexican food I've ever eaten.

Stayed at Ruskin House for 4 nights in Sept. Just "far" enough from all the noise during busy school holidays. 600m to the beach through back lane, high street just there. What else do you want??? Just perfect, didn't eat there as so many cool cafes just around the corner. I love Byron!

It is run with a lovely family who are very helpful with places to eat and visit. We only stayed one night in Byron bay...
