My husband and I had checked out the reviews on Trip Advisor with regards to Mossgrove Bed and Breakfast and every single one of the reviews were excellent. We have just spent 3 nights at John and Sue's bed and breakfast and, in our opinion, it far exceeded "excellence". Apart from their house and gardens being amazing, the bed and...

We spent a few wonderful days here. Really a little piece of heaven! Tranquility, beautiful nature, wonderful views, beautiful trees, birds everywhere, lovely cottage, super neat and clean, lovely hosts, who were really nice to our kids as well... Hi Marika, We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review and so very nice to hear you and your family enjoyed your stay. With quite a large garden the sound of birds is something we hear every day, especially our two pairs of Whip birds, so yes very tranquil indeed. Glad the kids liked roaming around the...

John and Sue's house is situated in a wonderful area surrounded by trees and colourful plants. When we arrived they couldn't have been more hospitable: they made my wife and I a cup of tea with cake and also offered my son cake with a soft drink. Inside there are two bedrooms with ample space, a kitchen with a washer...

Thank you Martin and Sue for your very comprehensive review. Always great to get overseas reviews to know how we compare. Really pleased you all found your stay with us one you enjoyed so much and that the accommodation suited your families needs. Having fresh eggs daily certainly makes cooking a tasty breakfast that much easier so I will tell...

Mossgrove provided the perfect weekend getaway for us. Sue and John provide a beautiful B&B in a fully restored period farmhouse set in a fabulous garden. You are ten minutes outside Dorrigo so there is no traffic, no street lights and no noise. Just peace and tranquility. There is plenty of space in the B&B to provide you with privacy...

Hi John, Thank you both so much for taking the time to post a review. Yes one of the pleasures in life is having peace and quiet and it is here in abundance at Mossgrove, except perhaps the occasional chook going off or the cows in the adjoining paddock just letting us know they are there. Hope to see you...

Mossgrove is a beautiful home situated just a few kilometres outside of Dorrigo surrounded by a superb garden and rolling green hills. We stayed for three nights recently, having returned after almost eight years, and we were not disappointed. Mossgrove is still a fabulously comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The guest accommodation is first-rate and the breakfasts scrumptious. We...

We visited this place during our Australia trip in November 14. The location was great and the owners are too friendly. A very nice breakfast, clean and relatively close to the dorrigo national park. I even went for a nice run there. I recommend this place, go there and experience the silence and nature.

There are places you go to just relax and get away, and there are places that ground you, remind you of what your values are, of what the true pleasures of life are and that enable you to appreciate the time you have now and drive you to dream for a better future. Nothing truer can be said for Sue...

Can I just start by saying what welcoming and flexible hosts John and Sue are, they made planning our wedding a dream. I would recommend Mossgrove purely on the kind nature of the owners, but that's not all this pleasing venue has to offer. Although Sue was absent over the wedding weekend John did a magnificent job. You go to Dorrigo for world heritage listed rainforest, and the largely agricultural town of Dorrigo itself is not overly picturesque, so it makes sense to seek out something with its own bit of special. Mossgrove is a 5 minute drive from Dorrigo, set on an old farm property with a sprawling garden that obviously loves the wet climate. It's...
