This B&B is tidy and cosy in winter with the log fire prepared for our visit, warming the room 😊. The owners are charming and seamlessly prepare breakfast providing options including cooked meals, pancakes and cereal. Rooms and building are turn of the previous century, but has a modern bathroom. Great value for money and good country charm all under...

My relatives recently stayed at Calico Duck for 2 nights with very friendly and helpful hosts Sally & Bob. We highly recommend this B & B. It was very comfortable and warm, and Sally & Bob went the extra mile to make their stay a wonderful experience

It was a treat to spend two nights at the Calico Duck sharing the home of the charming local woman, Sally and her likeable husband Bob Jackman, a former Essex boy who loves his adopted homeland. The full English breakfasts were just as we like them.

Good clean Bed and Breakfast. The only downside would be a shared bathroom but not a problem for us as we were traveling with friends. Good home cooked breakfast. Nice garden on a very quiet street (most streets in Grenfell were quiet.

I contacted Sally and Bob Eastman via their website, following glowing reports about their B and B, to see if they had accommodation for us for 1 night. We got a prompt reply saying yes. So glad they did. We received a very friendly and informative reception to a lovely home in town. Its an older style home with a...

We found this B&B perfect for our two night stay in Grenfell. The owners, Sally & Bob, are most welcoming and provide spotlessly clean accommodation in the front section of their large, old house. It comprises two bedrooms, a large lounge room, a dining area and a newly refurbished bathroom. The queen bed is very comfortable and cosy. Cereals, toast,...

This wonderful B&B tucked away behind a lovely little garden is gentle, warm and welcoming. Sally and Bob are fabulous hosts, and the privacy and comfort they offer is truly a delight. Our own sitting and dining area, bathroom and plenty of towels, along with clean and cosy surrounds and the warmth of the slow burning fire made us feel...

Sally & Bob are the friendly hosts of a lovely b&b in a cottage set in a small beautiful garden on a quiet Grenfell street. A comfy chair beside the fire in the evening & a large home-cooked breakfast made our stay enjoyable.

There's a balancing trick to be a successful host of a B&B - welcoming, friendly but not too intrusive and Bob & Sally show how it's done. We had the run of the living areas as part of a two couple booking and Bob started the fire and topped it up as we sat up late. Clean, comfortable and great...
