We stayed here for an overnight stop and were very impressed. Great grassy sites, some sloping but very easy to access. Drive through sites were available and seemed fine and brand new. The camp kitchen was excellent and spotlessly clean. Amenities were dated but clean and more than adequate. It is situated near a lake and there are great short...

Due to the wet weather, we were unable to stay in the nearby national park so opted for an unpowered site at Lake Talbot. We were the only site occupied and it was grassy, clean and quiet. The bathroom facilities are clean and neat with sufficient hooks and area to keep clothes dry. While there are houses across a road,...

The price for an unpowered campsite at $37.00 seemed high. While near Lake Talbot, a high cyclone fence separates the campsite from the shore. In the female ablution block, one of the four toilets was blocked and also one of the three hand basins was blocked. Interestingly, the rubbish bins in the camping area were upended well before checkout time,...

We booked a powered site for May 2017 in January 2017. In March 2017 my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and was advised not to travel so we cancelled with well over 2 months notice but in their wisdom only known to themselves they refused and are still refusing to refund our $33.70 deposit. I have even asked them...

The location was a short drive from town. Management were polite and friendly. We stayed on a drive through site which were newly concreted and fenced with a small grassed area and views of Lake Talbot. The amenities, grounds and BBQ's were all clean and tidy. Ended up staying an extra night.

Firstly, I'll explain that it's possible that I'm viewing this from a suburban perspective, but while the location of Lake Talbot is beautiful (and it really is), the cost of a cabin here really outweighs the benefits that come with the cabin. It was pleasant to see that there were clear instructions for us to know how to get to...

Cabins have all that is required. Quiet park with boat ramp close by. Nice grassed areas, for those that are camping, with views of Lake Talbot. Short drive to town. Friendly managers. Would stay again.

We stayed one night on our way to Melbourne. The cabin we were in was roomy and had all the conveniences we required. It had a fully equipped kitchen and could have accommodated 6 people. The park itself was very good with all the needed facilities available. It was well above the level of the Murrumbidgee River and there was...

We stayed close to the lake so as to put the kayak in the water. The boat ramp was a short drive away. Narrandera township has gotten very old and forgotten in time. As has the caravan park. The cabin was clean and tidy but old and needing small repairs (tiles on the bathroom floor were loose). I wouldn't say...

I picked this Park because it is pet friendly with dogs allowed in selected cabins. I was allowed to exercise my dog in a well grassed and watered area opposite Reception, but that would not be case if people were staying in tents in this area. The cabins are basic but air conditioning and heating are provided.
