Travelling through NSW we saw this hotel advertised on Trip advisor and other sites. Although availability was not showing for the dates we chose we sent an email in case of cancellations and could have changed dates. We received no response. We had to go through Nyngan so thought we would just check. The sign is still hung outside. I...

Myself and two friends stayed at Beancounter's while en-route to Broken Hill from Sydney. This is a comfortable and nicely decorated place. You find it on the main street but enter the premises down a little path with tropical plants and a water feature. Breakfast essentials are found in the kitchen and can be used by guests. A pub and...

Great place for a stopover on our way to Cunamulla clean nice rooms with lovely linen and bath products. Well stocked kitchen if in need of a coat of paint. We brought our supper with us and ate it at the kitchen table as we arrived late.

As I am on the road a lot with my job, when I find a place with character and charm instead of the many motels that all look alike, I am very happy! Beancounters House is very cosy and comfortable with an eclectic mix of furniture and art. There are new modern (share) bathrooms, with toweling robes in every room....

Nyngan isn't a destination. Feels like a dying country town. But if you have to stay here, this isn't a bad option. The good: nice enough rooms for a night. Good location. The bad: security is NIL: no lock on bedrooms and front door not secure. Water pressure is very low. Shared bathrooms, 2 for 4 bedrooms.

This bills itself as a B&B but is more like an upscale boarding house. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds, fluffy bathrobes and big TVs. The location is perfect, right in the center of town with a great cafe downstairs. The bathrooms are shared but well appointed. However, there are no locks on the room doors (at least not...

We stayed in Beancounters House on the way home to Sydney from South Australia. We opted for this rather than the impersonal motel alternatives and are happy we did. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, although the bathrooms are shared. The central heating was very welcome. The kitchen is available for use and seems well equipped, although we chose...

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Beautifully restored rooms, comfy bed and very clean. Owners are very warm and welcoming. By far beats any of the other accommodation in Nyngan and for a great price. Highly recommended,

This is a very pleasant suprise in Nyngan. It is the old managers residence from the Bank of NSW. Beautifully restored and appointed rooms and shared bathrooms (one to two rooms), this is refreshingly sophisticated place to stay. Only downside was the lack of off street parking.
