This motel was on the main thoroughfare for a recent trip. We just needed somewhere to store our things and fome back to for some sleep before continuing on our journey. This motel is great for that. Yes, the rooms are tired and showing their age. However the bed was comfortable, the location great and the staff provided great service....

As we were travelling through, it was the first motel we came across but wish we had looked at other ones. Even though the staff were friendly, the room was very old with dark exposed brick. The lighting was very poor making it hard to read, there was a hole in the curtain, there was a bad smell coming from...

Though this motel is very average the owners are wonderfully inviting, the rooms have a small kitchenette which is hard to come by in this area, whilst it may be just out of walking distance to the centre of town, the price allows for taxi charge or better still one the courtesy busses from the local clubs, the rooms are...

Stayed here overnight in between moving house. and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Would recommend for short or long stay. Reasonably priced also. The owners were friendly. Close to South Tweed Sports Club and takeaways. Short drive to Tweed City or nice walk along river.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was poky and old. The whole motel needs a good renovation done. Even some decent gardening would help, spice it up. I guess you get what you pay for but any longer then a night or two and I would look elsewhere.

Old school motel, but clean and comfortable, can be a little noisey? But the Lady that owns it is lovely and will try to help where they can. Well located and can't go wrong with the price they do the units for...

I came from Sydney to Tweed South for work and stayed at the city lights motel for about 5 weeks. The staff did everything possible to make my stay more comfortable and the hotel had excellent amenities and services. Could not fault my stay.

We booked five rooms for our family, three families and a couple of friends as well. The service is just fantastic. Yes, rooms are a little dated, but they were clean and comfortable. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but did make use of the BBQ area.

Our visit was for a family function held at a nearby events centre, and this hotel was not my choice but we stayed there to be located with our relatives. It is exactly the sort of accommodation I don't like, although admittedly it's priced accordingly; and I will say the management staff were notably friendly and the cleaning crew always...
