We spent a Monday and Tuesday night at the Inn at Jim Thorpe in early June. The Inn is charming and the staff is very attentive. Wonderful chocolate chip cookies when you arrive. We were in room 203 which faces the front. A lovely, large room with the balcony in front. Bathroom was small but sufficient. The room was quiet...

We spent one Sunday night here. Even though check-in wasn't until 4pm, the staff gave us a parking pass for their lot next to the Inn so that we could enjoy the day before check in. We had our bikes and wanted to start riding as soon as we got there. Check in was painless, and my husband discovered that...

I visited Jim Thorpe overnight to attend a nearby concert and knew that the Inn was where I wanted to stay. Having been there previously, I knew that parking in this lovely little town could be a challenge. The Inn has its own parking lots, but I still had my apprehensions. They turned out to be unfounded. I arrived at...

Initial room was in a building with an immense odor that trigger an asthma attack! Not sure what was causing the fumes, the Inn didn't seem concerned. The Inn graciously offered an alternate room at $100 more with a 10% discount! Room was definitely much nicer. Not impressed, for the fridge had prior guest's leftovers in it. Also, the TV...

I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that this guest experienced during their stay with us, and appreciate these items being brought to my attention. First off, it was through no fault of ours that this guest did not knowing in which building they were staying. They were part of a wedding group which blocked off our one property. All guests...

After selecting a stay in Jim Thorpe as a good stopping point on our road trip, we were wonderfully surprised at the charming town! The Inn is delightful! We had a delicious meal there, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable! I would highly recommend making a point to travel to Jim Thorpe - and stay at the...

My wife and I found Jim Thorpe on our way home from visiting family in State College. We decided to stay on a whim. We wandered into the inn and they let us check out a room and we decided to stay (very good rate too). This is a wondefful old hotel. Room was fantastic and clean. Bed was very...

It's somewhere between a 4 and a 5. I was going to give it a 4 largely based on its value but then the nice front staff swung it for me. For 200/night I think there should be more of wow factor. Our room was facing the other building to the side and so the view was disappointing. If I'm...

Well located. Clean. Good service. Fun bar. Tasty breakfast (the $7 vouchers help!). Enjoyed morning coffee on the second floor balcony. Would have liked to have a fridge in the room. Will stay here again.

This is a slightly complex one as it has to be reviewed both as hotel and restaurant. The hotel I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Lovely little room with a balcony and the convenience of a fridge, microwave and Keurig. Huge comfortable bed, proper bath and shower. The only thing not...

The hotel has a couple of buildings on the main street. We stayed in the 55 Broadway building. A parking permit is provided by the hotel so you can find one of the very limited parking spots. In general, once you park your car, don't move it or you may not get another spot. The hotel is right in the...
