First visit to Lancaster. Throughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were delicious. Lark is a delight. She was especially helpful, pointing out local places of interest. Our room was immaculate and the bed comfortable. If we were in the area again, we would definitely stay with Lark and Michael.

Our B&B hosts, Lark and Michael were very friendly and welcoming. The room was inviting and the bed was extremely comfortable! We came to see Samson but didn't want to stay near that location because we thought it would be too congested. This B&B is about 20 minutes away on a quiet road. Breakfasts were varied, relaxing, and delicious. We...

We had a wonderful visit to the Lovelace Manor for 2 nights in October. Michael and Lark were wonderful hosts and we so enjoyed staying in the Lucasta room. We enjoyed learning about the history of the building, eating delicious and creative breakfasts both mornings, and taking the advice of Lark on local Amish places to visit in the farmlands...

Lark and Michael McCarley are the wonderful couple who run this charming inn. They create a warm, professional atmosphere that's both homey and elegant. The beautiful restored house has lovely rooms and breakfasts are delicious (and very generous).

Great place to stay for a visit to Amish country. Super hosts, lovely inn, delicious breakfast, many extras. The host provides a written, step-by-step, self-guided tour, complete with a map, of everything Amish. We would definitely stay here again & would not hesitate to recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Lovelace Manor. Lark and Michael were so friendly and helpful. In fact, we only had about 24 hours in the area before we needed to move on but they gave us a wonderful, detailed guide to the area that made for a delightful day in Amish Country. The Victorian home was so welcoming, from...

Lovelace exceeded our expectations. Michael and Lark are passionate about providing their guests with the utmost care. The food was amazing and the information provided to us regarding the local, authentic places to visit was much appreciated. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and very well maintained. We will certainly visit again. We enjoyed the conversations immensely and had a...

We hated to leave. Lark and Michael truly made our trip to Lancaster. Their knowledge of the area and culture clearly demonstrated the commitment to the business. But the funny thing is we felt like we were home. (OK a really beautiful, friendly version of our home with much better breakfast.) Lark's guidance for our itinerary was the difference between...

I love the old historic home! Breakfast was much more than I could have imagined and the attention to details (cookies, coffee available and a bit of port in our rooms) was above and beyond! We tried the porch, the "sitting rooms" and found it to be amazingly relaxing. We will go again!

I recently stayed at Lovelace Manor with my daughter, who is going to college nearby. We were only there for one night, but I would definitely return when I am in the area again. The Victorian home was very clean, and the breakfast is truly something special. We had an incredible cheese souffle following by a cinnamon scone---absolutely delicious! Thank...

Thank you so much. And I do hope you will get to stay again when visiting your daughter. Hopefully next time you will get to see a little more of the area!
