We went here for Labor Day weekend with two other families; our kids are ages 6-10. When we arrived we were forced to squeeze two fifth wheels into incredibly tight and unlevel sites with very little room to spare. In addition, two sites up from us, a camper had pulled in to their site in order to "face" their friends...

Teenagers at the playground right next to our camper at 2:30 in the morning. While trying to play mini-golf with our grandchildren we were verbally attacked by two teenage boys. When I asked them to clean up their language around the little children they got in my face and my husband's. Thought we were going to be physically assaulted. We...

Stayed for 4 nights. Sites are very small and very close to one another. Had some extra activities for the kids that other campgrounds don't have but not worth the price. They were doing tree trimming when I was there. The untrained staff worked on same tree next to my site for 2 days. When I complained to the staff,...

We have been camping for years and found this to be one of the worst campgrounds that we have stayed at. The sites on the lower level are right on top of each other so thank goodness we were on the upper North Pole Loop. Needless to say these sites have strange hookups and are not level either. When we...

It was off season so not everything was open but the kids still had a fun (ages 4 & 7). It's old and outdated but good old school family fun. Vintage arcade games, Minigolf, pool, (small) zip line, ball pit, playground, merry-go-round??, wooden pirate ship.

I have been bringing my family to Bucktail for the past four years, at least three times each Summer. There is always something to keep the kids entertained. From the themed activites, to the rides, the swimming pool, mini-golf and the largest sandbox you will ever see. Yes, there are unsupervised children running around the campground. My children are not...

I get to the campground & the camper beside me is using the electric to my paid site. I ask him to use his hookup and he said No. Called management over and over and they did nothing about it. The camper was drinking in the playground the entire weekend and had several visitors in his site doing the same....

A storm downed a power line causing a power outage for a full day of our trip. Completely understand that as campers weather and mother nature are out of our control however, we played for a service that was not delivered. They placed a large generator next to our site making it impossible for us to lay our children down...

I had been a seasonal camper at Bucktail for 7 years. I went with my family every weekend starting in April going all the way to October. Some things in the previous reviews are a little extreme. Yes, there will be some drunks, but there is quiet time at 11:00 and they are very strict about it so the person...

We camp often and have been to Bucktail each year for the last several years with our children. We decided in 2014 that it would be our last year going to Bucktail as there is no improvement to the entire facility and even the upkeep seems minimal. There are activities for the kids, but many don't work (arcade, baseball pitching...
