We were on a long road trip home and needed to find a place to stay and break up our trip. There were all the usual hotel choices near Harrisburg, but we stumbled on the Colonial Crossroads while looking through choices on the web. What a great find! The innkeeper greeted us with a brief orientation to the history of...

We try to stay at B&Bs when we travel, and were delighted to find Colonial Crossroads. We loved the historical accuracy of the restoration but didn't feel like we were in a museum, and were impressed with the efforts the hosts have made to trace the history of the building. The B&B is in a great location - quite close...

We were looking for a weekend get away centrally located since we live on opposite ends of PA. Majority of the Harrisburg/Hershey hotels were booked solid so we opted for a B&B. Being that we have never stayed at a B&B we were a little uncertain of what to expect. Ed and Barb made the experience wonderful. The house is...

My husband and I stayed at Colonial Crossroads B&B. The food and hospitality us great. The hosts have maintained the character and history of their home, which was built in the 1800's. We will be returning for another visit this summer.

This is a fabulous inn from the 1790s, delightfully furnished in antiques and reproductions. It's clean and comfortable, absolutely, but it has so much character. The sheets were so soft. There were chocolates in the bedroom, and a fireplace. There's free wifi. The breakfast starts off with fresh fruit and yogurt, then follows up with a hot entrée. There are...

My fiance and I loved our stay at Colonial Crossroads for a Valentine's ski trip. Barb was wonderful - she welcomed us, gave us a tour, told us the history of the house (which we as teachers both loved), and explained everything about our room. The room had a fabulous fireplace (electric but gave off real heat!) and was beautifully...

We spent the weekend enjoying the quaint early American ambience of the Colonial Crossroads B&B and couldn't have been happier. We stayed in the room with the four poster bed and the Jacuzzi tub. We loved how the inn was decorated in keeping with its history and full of quilts; and the fireplace ensured a cozy feels. Ed and Barb...

I grew up in the Mechanicsburg and Grantham area. I always wanted to see this building. My girlfriend and I stayed overnight and it was wonderful! We stayed in the smaller room which was perfect 😊 The hosts were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The history of the building and interior decorations were right on. The breakfast was amazing!

My fiancée and I couldn't have been happier with our stay at Colonial Crossroads. We loved the decor and atmosphere and were impressed with the colonial building. The innkeepers and their dog, Flash, were hospitable and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Everything in our room was clean and orderly. Breakfast was excellent, and we were able to eat...

The antiques and historical feel of the bed and breakfast was nice. However, the rooms are not very private, and the bathtub was covered in dirt when we got there. We ordered flowers and chocolate covered strawberries, and the strawberries were soggy. The bed was creaky, and breakfast was average at best. The worst part is that they apparently put...

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. I know you are upset about having to pay for the old jar we had on the table, but you ARE responsible for your actions in our home. The jar is on a small antique table about THREE feet from the shower. It has been there for over 4 years and...
