We stayed four nights at the Alpenhof. It is in a residential neighborhood and the parking area is surrounded by multi-colored gardens. The stained-glass entrance immediately impressed us. Judy is a caring and attentive hostess. After our first breakfast, she remembered our preferences and was prepared for us on each succeeding day. Our meals were always perfectly done to our... More

My husband and I have stayed there twice in the last few weeks while enjoying Media's "Dining Under the Stars". We stayed in the Grand Master Suite and absolutely loved it. It is a spacious suite with high ceilings decorated in an eclectic comfortable style. The bathroom is very large with a rain shower that makes you feel as if... More

Beautiful Inn. we stayed in the Rock Garden Cottage. Lovely details, immaculately kept!! The beds are so comfortable that I almost couldn't get up in the morning. Was a quiet, romantic way to spend New Year's Eve while on a business trip. The owners are very accommodating and feel like family by the end of the first breakfast. Food is... More

The hosts are committed to making your stay as comfortable and inviting as possible. Lovely, eclectic interior choices, comfortable beds, lovely walking gardens. I only wish we were nearer & could come more often! Many lovely restaurants just a few miles into the quaint town of Media. A perfect little get-away town made better by the Alpenhof. FIVE STARS all... More

Our family of four recently stayed at the Rock Garden Cottage, probably immediately after the unhappy lady with the shedding dog. We did not notice any dog hair at all and the place was clean. Judy greeted us on arrival to show us around, and offered daily housekeeping and towel service which we declined because we like to be "green".... More

Stayed at Alpenhof for the Blues Stroll in town. We do B&B's all the time. The festival was great, but the stay at Alpenhof turned out to be the real highlight of the trip. Relaxing day at the pool after a cooked to order breakfast. They put a lot of effort into the gardens. Beautiful inside and out. We decided... More

My sister and I traveled up to Pennsylvania to attend a bridal shower and decided to stay at Alpenhof B&B. We found it to be a delightful surprise and felt like we had discovered a little slice of Europe here in America. Every room has incredible charm, artwork, carved original wooden doors and trims, unique tiling and cozy furnishings. Every... More

I was reluctant to stay at a B and B for work; however, I am glad I did. Roland and Judy made me feel right at home. I can't wait for my next trip up north. I will stay at The Alpenhof again. Great breakfast too!

My first stay and it was fabulous. No detail is left undone, the house is extremely clean with a warm and friendly atmosphere, breakfast was outstanding with a choice of almost anything. The grounds are beautifully kept as is the pool and deck. What a charming and comfortable place to stay! BTW, the wet bar is superbly stocked.

We have stayed here numerous times throughout the years as a couple, just my husband and as a family. This is our favorite B&B! We have stayed in every room including the cottage. They are very accommodating, clean, friendly and make the most wonderful homemade blueberry muffins and cinnamon swirl raisin bread. The cottage is our favorite when traveling with... More

“We stayed in Otto's room. It has a really nice bathroom for such a small space! It's a queen bed, with a soft plush memory foam topper that was a bit too soft for us. It was setup very well in its use of space and enjoyable to use the amenities, despite it's tininess. ”
