The Inn is much more beautiful than what can be shown on the website. The food was excellent, the customer service was exceptional, and our room was very cozy, with the best down pillows and comforter! It was also very well maintained and very clean. It was also very relaxing, we were told that our breakfast could be served anywhere,...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We agree that our website does not fully show the Inn's grandness. We have just completed a professional photo shoot and will be replacing our website. I will be sure to let everyone on our mailing ist know when it is completed.

I recently spend one night at the Mercersburg Inn. It is a beautiful, historic mansion converted to an inn. I spent a quiet summer mid-week night in a perfectly appointed and comfortable room. I was able to peek in the other rooms which were all unique and beautiful. The Inn host was informative and friendly. A delicious breakfast exceeded my...

Lots of very interesting architectural details, including stained glass in my bathroom. I also got to peek into some of the other rooms -- each with distinctive details. My room was quite spacious, with plenty of room for a chaise and even a little balcony. Person with whom i made (and changed) my reservation was very pleasant and accommodating. I...

Thank you for visiting us and taking the time to write a review. We are sorry you could not find the hair dryer. All rooms have a hair dryer. In your room it was in the sink cabinet. We don't use the wall mounted dryers that you find in hotels. We do provide an information sheet to all guests upon...

This was our third time staying here. My daughter and I came for the Cheesemaking Class. We stayed in Ione's Suite, one of my favorite rooms, with a huge bathroom king bed, and couch on the second floor. The Inn is so comfortable and elegant. The meals are sublime! My husband and I have been here for winetasting weekends as...

Thank you for visiting us and taking the time to write a review. This was our first hands-on cheese making weekend, thanks for making it a success. The Vermont Three Shepherd cheese making team were great and we are glad you enjoyed there classes and Chef Dan's dinner. Hope to see you again. Jim

My husband and I are totally hooked on this hotel. It has a wide variety of lovely rooms to choose from for singles or couples. After a hard day of skiing at Whitetail, which is a short 10 minute drive, it is so wonderful to return to the hotel, shower, dry off with the softest towels made, and drink a...

Our experience at this inn was heavily influenced by our unfortunate choice to stay in a carriage house room. These rooms are detached from the main inn and are located above the garage space for the property. A very steep and narrow exterior flight of stairs (treacherous) leads up to two rooms. The room was dated, with dingy carpet, and...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We apologize that you did not enjoy your visit to the Inn. If you had asked we would have changed your room to one in the main house. The stairs seem extra long since all the ceilings on both properties are 11 feet tall. The Carriage House was exactly what...

Beautiful, and cozy just what an elegant b&b should be. Loved the hospitality of lisa one of the owners. Real fire in the fireplace, some board games and our room, the nannys room, was wonderfully comfy with down pillows and high quality bedding. Dinner was superb. If you get the duck go for it. Amazing quality and care. No this isn't...

My parents never got to stay here because it fills up very quickly during the school year. However, I visited a few times with other parents who visited during the low season. Always a pleasant stay. My husband and I were married at the Mercersburg Inn on November 23, 2012. Anyone looking for a place to elope would do very well to follow in our footsteps. My 10 yo son and I stayed 2 nights at the inn, and we really enjoyed our stay. It isn't often one gets to experience what it would be like to live in such a large house from olden times.
