My husband and I stayed here recently for a pre Valentine day stay and the staff and restaurant were both wonderful. Ate at Bar Louis and my Gold Rush cocktail was very good. Nice to go somewhere that seems interested in inventive cocktails!

This was our second stay at the Hotel Fauchere, and I highly recommend it. We live in New Jersey about an hour and a half away from Milford, PA, which is a very pleasant little town in the quiet northeastern Poconos, perfect for a weekend...More
This hotel! It was wonderful!! It was a cold Christmas night we spent here. The little fountain in the back had frozen solid, snow drifted quietly. It could not have been more picturesque or cozy. The beds are super comfortable and I loved the Aveda...More

Grey Towers - right in Milford - is pretty spectacular. A must visit/see. Peters Valley Craft Center is about 10 miles from Milford and that's wonderful. We have numerous waterfalls - some are truly deeply breathtaking. We have a grand "main" street - BROAD STREET - with shops, and galleries and wonderful artists. The Hotel Fauchere is filled with beauty. Bar Louis is one of my personal favorites, and Bob, the bartender, is a treat and a joy. Badea & Soul (right next to the hotel) offers fabulous massages and facials if you're into that kid of pampering. A wonderful restaurant, THE FORK, is in Shohola, which is about 10/15 minutes outside of milford. We also have The Waterwheel restaurant & bar which has great music on thursday nights. The Columns is our historical museum, and that's right across from the Hotel. If you're looking for a bit of a drive - maybe a half hour or so - visit Hawley, and go to the Silk mill, which is now converted into a cool hotel - Ledges - and great shops. Whew, hope this gives you a good idea. Milford is fabulous.
