My daughters ages 9 & 11 along with myself found ourselves in lancaster county this April Vacation.. After a 3 night stay in another B&B and loving the area we decided to extend our stay by one night. When calling to make reservations staff were very polite and helpful. Upon arriving the B&B as well as grounds are beautiful, very...

Thank yo for the reminder that we need to adhere to stricter quiet hours. We enjoy visiting with our guests and may not always realize the time. Although we reminded our guests around you of the quiet hours, we apologize for the disturbance. We are in the process of having reminders made for our guests to walk quietly on the...

We stayed here enroute to Maine two summers ago to enjoy the experience of farm living. My husband and kids were skeptical but they enjoyed every minute. My son and I were fortunate enough to see the birth of a calf which was an amazing experience I'll never forget. The kids loved bottle feeding the calves, petting the kittens, collecting...

We love it and actually we are missing the serenity of the place and the people we met and all the fantastic experience on the farm; If you love nature this is a place to go: simple and beautiful; Rooms are clean which is a must in any travel: Confortables are old but it is fine; Push yourself to wake...

Rocky Acre is awesome. We loved our room, the farm, the animals, the innkeepers. YOU NAME IT! We can't wait to go back! Don't forget to wake up early to bottle feed the baby cows!

This was our first trip to Rocky Acre, and we will return year after year. The room was very clean, the staff was wonderful and our three children can not stop talking about our trip. The free boat rentals and morning activities were a big plus. This was also a wonderful stay for my wife and I, and helped improve...

I hate to write a semi-negative review but honestly I did not see what the hype is all about. The place needs some serious remodeling, the owners were not particularly friendly and while breakfast was good- it was not worth everything else. We felt really crowded with all the other families there and the 'rules' of quiet and other things...

I am sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. I realize your daughter was not particularly happy or feeling well which can put a damper on any vacation. We strive to make our guests feel welcome and "at home" while they are enjoying the farm experience. Many of our guests find new friends at the farm and return for...

If you want to get away from it all, go to Rocky Acre. A family run place, delicious breakfasts, cozy rooms, a working farm, a chance for children to get away from tv, computers and video games. And they will not regret it. For more fun, half an hour away is Hershey Park. You stay in a farmhouse with other...

What a wonderful, memorable once-in-a-lifetime experience. We all had a great time. The kids played on bikes, shot hoops, rode the golf cart, picked eggs in the chicken coop, fed the calves with huge milk bottles, kayaked in a river on the property with the B&B's own kayak, milked a cow, saw a cow delivering a baby, played with the...

I just completed my 50th night at what our 10-year old calls his "home away from home"! We travel the easy 2-hr. trip from southern new jersey about 3 or 4 times a year to spend time in a world that brings us pure joy! Children get to play while adults can sit and read/relax, enjoy the beauty while having...

What a fabulous vacation! The farm is beautiful, the breakfast unbelievable, the activities on the farm all such a delight! My children whined to be taken back to the farm every time we drove out of the parking lot. I've never had such a wonderful vacation. Eileen and Galen make you feel like family.
