Wow, what a great place to stay. We actually didn't stay in the main house, but we stayed across the street in another home. We ate breakfast in the main house. The entire stay was so relaxing. Our room was beyond clean, the breakfast was just scrumptious and my 6 year old had a blast collecting eggs, playing in the...

Stayed for 3 nights with our kids aged 9 and 7. They had a lot of fun with the kittens and in the hay barn with swing etc. Breakfasts were very good, real home cooking. I agree with the 'Fun but' review re the traffic noise, close to a fairly busy road where traffic starts at 5am onwards, not a...

This enjoyable home had many exquisite things to do. The family was very hospitable and welcoming the moment I entered the door. The food their could not be compared to any other. The homemade pizza was the best I have ever had. The best part was dipping it in the homemade apple sauce. The house was very clean and had...

Our family of 5 was looking for a working farm for our 3 kids to enjoy for a one night stay in Lancaster. Found this online and seemed perfect. First we found the directions provided on the website terrible as there was no indication of distances and how long to expect our drive to take. We were fortunate that there...

I loved this B & B so did my son & husband, but I couldn't help but feel that this place had a ghost. Strange knocks on the wall at odd hours..I don't know, it could have been the kids next door, but I did have the creeps from that point on.... Worth the stay though.. we had a great...

This is a wonderful place to stay, to relax and enjoy the peaceful countryside. The farm house is absolutely beautiful and charming, the hospitality was outstanding, and the breakfasts were delicious. We especially enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens after breakfast, and the kids loved the swing in the barn. This is great place to bring the whole family! We...

We were referred to Country Gardens by a nearby B&B which was our first choice but had no vacancy. The house is nicely furnished, very clean, and the family was helpful, courteous, and business-like in their approach to their guests. Our stay was unfortunately tainted by our inability to sleep well due to road noise since the house is at...

this is our 3rd time staying here - it is always fun, always great hospitality, friendly family, great food -- yeah the previous review is correct about no chores on sunday....this is a family run establishment -- so they can't always guarantee kittens (cats do grow up!!!) -- we fed the goats & chickens, gathered eggs, hay/barn swing, shot some...

I stayed at the B&B with my two children ages 7 and 5. The place was immaculate, the food was delicious and the hosts friendly. Their website advertises that "Children are welcome to enjoy the swings, kittens, feeding the chickens, giving hay and feed to the goats and sheep, gathering eggs, milking goats. . " and that hayrides also are...
