Porches is the perfect place to stay for your trip to new hope. The location is awesome within walking distance to all shops and restaurants and Lambertsville. The canal is right behind the main house with miles and miles of trails. We stayed in the two room house this time with its own balcony. The manager is so nice and... More

I recently stayed at the B&B Porches in room 7, the loft room. The property is stunning, with its beautiful, distinctive gardens. and the rooms are even better. Room 7 is simply beautiful with its nautical theme. The loft bed was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The staff and service could not be beat. Everyone we... More

We just returned from a long weekend stay in New Hope. Porches has a great location, wonderful rooms, beautiful garden and grounds, excellent breakfasts and smiling friendly service. We stayed in Room 11 in the Gatekeeper's house. We will return.

Porches on the Towpath is up Fishers Alley, just off Main St near Bridge St. We were concerned it might be noisy with all the motorcycles, but it was quiet and serene. We were in room 6 - a well appointed charming room - pictures accurately depict it on their website, with our bathroom and toilet areas separate from each... More

We stayed at Porches over a weekend for a wedding in the area in May, 2013. We used most of the rooms for others in our family, and the whole experience was wonderful. We kind of overran the place, but Carol and John were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to downtown New Hope.... More

I searched high and low to find a place that was not packed with Victorian ruffles (gag!) or pretention and we really scored with this place. Perfectly situated close to everything in New Hope, Porches was charming, welcoming and beautiful. We stayed in room #12, an Edwardian suite loaded with cozy yet opulent charm. John (the proprietor) greeted us in... More

My girlfriend and I recently took a much needed break to New Hope, PA this week, and stayed at this B & B. We both agree that it was a wonderful experience!! I just got back from a weekend at Porches B&B in New Hope PA John the proprietor has a wonderfully comfortable inviting facility. You are greeted at the door and made to feel at home from the minute you get there. Our room was beautifully decorated, and detail put into evey inch. The Inn is conveniently located right in the... A wonderfully situated, charming B&B on the towpath in the heart of New Hope. The owner and manager were both very friendly and we felt welcome and well-taken care of. This included the two 15 year old boys we had with us which is worth mentioning because not all B&B's love having kids around. Our room was nicely decorated with... More
