We first stayed at Porches 3 years ago for our one year anniversary. This was my first time staying in a B&B, so I did not know what to expect. After meeting the owner, I knew I had nothing to fear. He was very friendly and helpful, and answered any questions we had. He was able to recommend good places...

This is an awesome B&B. Perfect location, excellent staff, excellent breakfast! Rooms are decorated very upscale with beautiful furnishings and comfy beds. Our room was very clean as were all linens. I found the place to have a fascinating history. The only thing I think that needs attention is the garden area. There are excellent places to rest within the...

Don't know what it is like. Pictures look lovely. We tried to rent carriage house for family of three.we were told, in a not very kind manner, that no children under 5 are allowed because 1) children run around making a mess and 2) we don't want the other guests to feel guilty about leaving their children behind. Further, we...

This B & B is exceptionally well located near the heart of New Hope. I gave it a four but honestly, when we first arrived, we probably thought it would be a three. The main house is nearly two hundred years old. As such, the rooms in the main house are very cozy (almost cramped). There is minimal but adequate...

John (the Owner) and Laura are wonderful people, who are also warm and friendly. This B&B had so many eclectic tastes. Beautifully set by the water (Delaware Canal). They make you feel welcome and at home. This is a gay-owned, friendly B&B. My Partner and I will be planning to go back this summer for a weekend gateway. The rooms...

Porches is the perfect place to stay for your trip to new hope. The location is awesome within walking distance to all shops and restaurants and Lambertsville. The canal is right behind the main house with miles and miles of trails. We stayed in the two room house this time with its own balcony. The manager is so nice and...

I recently stayed at the B&B Porches in room 7, the loft room. The property is stunning, with its beautiful, distinctive gardens. and the rooms are even better. Room 7 is simply beautiful with its nautical theme. The loft bed was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The staff and service could not be beat. Everyone we...

Porches on the Towpath is up Fishers Alley, just off Main St near Bridge St. We were concerned it might be noisy with all the motorcycles, but it was quiet and serene. We were in room 6 - a well appointed charming room - pictures accurately depict it on their website, with our bathroom and toilet areas separate from each...
