When I called to reserve a room and was told they didn't need a credit card, I should have known something was off. This was on a Thursday. My wife thought it was odd as well so she tried calling back twice the next day (Friday). She left 2 voice mails and neither of them were returned. When we arrived...

The Colonial Motel retains its quality. Some of the rooms have received upgrades, painting, decorating, and furniture. We still enjoy visiting. Make sure you have reservations. Remember most rooms have refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves.

My husband & I were traveling from Vermont to Ohio & due to a side trip needed to spend the night before we reached our destination. I started calling motels along I-90 heading west out of Buffalo & everywhere I called was booked (or way too expensive). As I looked on the phone, I discovered the Colonial Motel & gave...

Don't stay here if you are allergic to mold! Mildew smell had me constantly sneezing. Great for fishermen who will be out all day & only need a place to shower and sleep. Same price as decent "chains" in town, without the amenities. The bonus is that it's close to lake.

We stayed at the Colonial Motel for 8 nights. The location was super convenient for my family events. This motel is perfect for an overnight stop or an extended stay. Rooms were clean and tidy. They couch was a bonus for entertaining guests and the kitchenette was an added bonus (I don't make it far without coffee in the morning)....

We called late in the afternoon and got the last room on a Friday night. The room was spotless, smelled fresh and I loved having a screen door and open windows to let the lake breeze in, something most chain places have forgotten about. The owner even asked the cleaning crew to revaccuum our room because there was a tiny...

My husband and I were just passing through and needed a cheap place to stay the night. This place was perfect. Clean, comfortable, quiet. There was even a kitchenette built in with a mini fridge, stove top, and sink. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone needing a room for a very reasonable rate!

We were in town for a wedding, which the bride and groom had reserved a block of rooms at another location for $$$ per night. We looked for alternative lodging and discovered great reviews for the Colonial Motel. The place is VERY clean (I was at first worried when I saw the word "motel"). Check-in/out was a breeze and our...

This is a great place. A throwback to the 1950's. We have been stopping here for over 20 years on our trips between Ohio and Vermont. Most rooms have a small kitchen. There has been a recent change in ownership. Let's hope that Jeramie and his wife continue the tradition of hospitality. Many fisherman stay here, so be sure to...

We booked this motel because other reviews mentioned the cleanliness. If you want a corporate, cookie cutter motel/hotel, this is not it, but if you want charm and a good price (and very clean) this is a good booking.
